Holiday Inn Express Dortmund By IHG

The staff!

It says there is air-conditioning but it didn¿t really work in the room. The air was never cold and we swear a lot through the night. It was particularly hot outside.

No fuss about breakfast since it's always included.

The room was too warm to sleep as I arrived. Had to turn off the AC for noise eventually. Weed smell is creeping in from somewhere.

Nice breakfast, clean rooms

Additional payments for parking and the dog

Simple but good breakfast. There is an also availability of take it away. Apparently even if you put your child in search Booking do not pass information about your child and this need to be manually adjusted. Child stay free but they need to be aware so extra bed is set. Very Big Thank You for receptionist who sort it out for Us.

You can be picky but this is a basic travel hotel. We need to turn off heating as fan make a noise at night but as we stay one night we didn’t really care and I am sure they will sort it out if pointed to reception.

It was very clean, quite and kind people

At the booking site they said there is a gym in the place, when we arrived they said it was wrong data

Nice and clean , quiet fit those who wanted rest after long trip. Kettle with tea and coffee was very helpful

Lack of toothbrush and toothpaste

Really good breakfast, good vegetarian options, close to motorway so perfect for one night stay. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. They were very pet friendly, you could have dogs with you for breakfast as they had designed area for people who had dogs.

We liked everything but I think the extra charge for dog was a bit excessive. €32 extra for two dogs, we stayed in similar hotels and charge was much less.

The hotel staff were very helpful and nice, the hotel is spotless and they provide you with clean towels, shampoo, shower gel, a kettle cups and drinks in the rooms. It’s was very quiet over night. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. So many chooses of foods and drinks.

The room size was very small for a family of 4 people. There wasn’t enough space to put luggage on the floors and no space to move around. The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable at all, it wasn’t comfortable and made lots of creaking noise whenever you were switching sides

If someone going to Germany it’s obvious on breakfast we will see wursts.

Night shift react to switch on lights when I said it’s a problem to read this

Nice clean room

Car park 12€

Very nice breakfast and very comfortable bed.

Room 317 was a little bit tight when entering.

Great welcome and both guys on desk very helpful and went out of their way to help us with map and directions for tram. Great evening in Dortmund. Fantastic breakfast!

Great breakfast, variety of food. Hotel is close to the Motorway, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean room and modern bathroom.

The bed was too soft. The lift was broken.

Nice place close to centre

Clean , quiet

Comfy beds, clean, tasty breakfast for the whole family.

Everything was good.

Good location for travelers, on the outskirts of the city.

The room is very dark. Poor lighting. The internet connection is very weak. Paid parking.

Friendly atmosphere, clean easy to find

Easy to find

The bar was open till late 2am, perfect for us arriving late.

It was slightly small for 4 of us, but ok for staying only one night.

Clean and spotless room. Good location close to motorway.

Small room. Seal from bottom of the shower door was missing so water was leaking during shower.

Very friendly staff, smaller room but well equipped. Near the freeway and restaurants, so it was a perfect stop on our roadtrip. Breakfast as expected, nice buffet and enough of everything.
