The location is great. You get an electric scooter and you are in the city center super fast.Staff is very nice but don't speak English that well, but did manage.

    * The shower was warm, and the towels smelled really good and fresh, but the bathroom needs some renovation for sure because it falls apart* The rooms have daylight temperature lights on the ceiling, like 6000 kelvin. That makes the room look very 'hospital'. Switch those for some 2300 or 2700 kelvin - normal - living room lights. That would make a MASSIVE difference, and only costs 2 euro's per room.

    Easy to reach.

Thin walls made it hart to sleep at night. We could understand every word of our neighbors and they were not loud. Shared bathrooms should be more clean.

I could not get the checkin machine to acknowledge my reservation. I had arrived late due to a delayed train, I tried alll the reference numbers provided and my surname but nothing worked.I literally spent the night on the streets as it was too late to get another hotel.Disgusting, I'm absolutely fuming

The location is perfect, especially for the price, very close to the main street which you just have to follow to get to the Westphalen stadium which is a bit further from the centre. Yet, very close to the main square where the Christmas market was, close aswell to the bus station and the U tower , so you're practicly in the middle of everything. The hosts were very good, they can communicate on multiple languages but offcourse depending on which one do you speak

I didn't like anything, everything was terrible.

I strongly do not recommend visiting this hotel. While visiting this hotel they burgled our room while we were sleeping they stolen phone, wallet, electronic cigarette, cigarettes, clothes and so on,As soon as we started dealing with the police they got scared and mysteriously all the things except the phone appeared in another room .Furthermore, the owner knew about everything. In addition, the hotel is dirty, messy and very noisy.Neither the owner nor the staff speak English. It's an organized crime group.

‼️ WARNING ‼️ this hotel is an organized criminal group ‼️

‼️ WARNING ‼️ this hotel is an organized criminal group ‼️We were a group of ten people who came to an international seminar in veltins arena gelsenkirchen. on Friday night, two of us were robbed ‼️ their wallets and cellphones were stolen. there was no one else staying at the hotel, only 10 of us on second floor, all 2 people each room. on Friday evening, the receptionist let two dark-skinned people who were not accommodated at the hotel in, through the main entrance. ‼️ subsequently, they came to the second floor where we were staying and went through the rooms, one of the five rooms where we were staying was unlocked and two of us were sleeping soundly there, the perpetrators came in and stole their cell phones and wallets. while they were quietly trying to open all the doors in the corridor, one of us guys woke up and asked them what they wanted there, what it was all about. they denied and pretended that they were staying there, even though they couldn't even show the key to their room. the one of us didn't know they were walking around the rooms, he only met them in the corridor, if he had known, he certainly wouldn't have let them leave. for the next two days we dealt with it with the police and the hotel. ‼️ no one at the hotel knew a word of English, shame ‼️ the most confident Balkan people everywhere. after X interrogations and hours of solving, we finally got the wallets back, but not the mobile phone. the testimonies of the hotel workers did not match what really happened, they lied, they did not have the camera footage delivered. ‼️ I stand by the claim that the receptionist was in agreement with the perpetrators, she let them into the hotel and gave them information that we were sleeping and that we were on the second floor. they had it all planned out. today, when leaving the hotel, I called them an organized criminal group at the reception and a skinny man who was running around there and probably cleaning, I don't know.

Usually the hotel has breakfast, but at the time of our stay, breakfast was temporarily not delivered. But coffee, tea, light snacks were always available at the reception bar. There are many cafes and restaurants near the hotel. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the train station, bus station and metro.

Of course, the inconvenience due to the lack of a toilet and shower in the room. But it matches the rating of the hotel. Therefore, there are no complaints.
