Reinoldus Hotel Dortmund

The check-in process was fast as all the instructions were sent beforehand. The bed was very comfortable. The location was good, within a 10-minute walk to the central station. The toom was small but more than enough for travellers who do not spend much time at a hotel and just need a bed to sleep.

The bathroom was small which made taking a shower a bit challenging ? but that was not a bug issue.

All good except for the Internet. No connection on the second floor at all although it was mentioned in the description free WIFI would be provided.

Everything else

It was very loud all night long. Not the hotel’s fault, but I didn’t fall asleep until like 5 AM. Not a single German person outside too?

Clean, very spacious en suite room. Quiet area (my room was facing the back of th building). All facilities were there and as described in Booking. Easy self check in and out process. Working lift, good heating and wifi signal. Good communication with the host through Booking messages. Great location; it is 3 min walk to Reinoldskirche U bahn which takes you everywhere. The shopping centre is only 5 min walk where you can find everything you want. It was a comfy stay and I shall definitely consider this hotel if I visit Dortmund again.

It would be great if you consider adding a small table or at least a bedside table in the room.Also a polite note re the wall behind the small wardrobe, it is old and eaten. It would need a renovation.

Great location, easy self check in.

There was no table, no chair, not even a kettle to heat water, no glass to drink water. Very inhospitable conditions for the guests. Actually there isn’t staff inside, there isn’t elementary kitchenette to get some knife or cup.

It was surprisingly clean from the price i paid 53€ / night .bathroom had almost everything you need . Check in is done by a system tool outside the hotel. there is no reception to do check in …

In winter I would not suggest to go there because eventhough the heater was on maximum and worked well the room was not well isolated and didn’t get warm. Blankets were too thin for a winter stay … And i would have appreciated if there would have been some extra blankets for people who feel cold. Check in could be done only at 3 PM …Overall very good for the price ! Better than what i experienced with some higher prices !

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this place! Everything was perfect, but what truly made my experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. Perfect location in centre. Easy digital check-in. We had a problem with a heating in room but we called the staff and they gave us another room which was quick and excellent. Staff are very prompt in response. ??

Terrible noise at night. Dark, simple not cosy room. The price was to high for what we got

The staff lady was great. I was unwell and she kindly brought my fruit and a meal.

No breakfast, no food of any kind this a a sleep only hotel. There is a brilliant take away at the end of the street.

The bed covers 2/3 rds of the floor area so there is room for little else. Location good but be prepared for a self-check in no frills experience. Definitely a sleep only room.

Location. Dortmund is a dirty city infortunaly.We had a boring view in our room + the bed’s were kinda hard

Location is perfect. Subway is about 100mts away. Right in the city centre. You cant ask for more!

Stayed from Thursday to Sunday. Thursday was really quiet but there's a club next door so Friday and Saturday was a bit hard to get some rest from 11pm to 4am....

The location

No simple cooling facilities. I.e. no kettle ect Also single pillow that wasn’t comfortable.

Very central, easy check-in and check out

No cold water, so the shower and sink was extremely hot. Close to a night club so it was relatively loud, and stains on carpet and some walls

- clean room and bathroom - quite comfortable bed- shampoo is available - supermarket is just around the corner

- no reception or staff on-site, so early check-in or luggage storage isn't possible- very noisy due to the nearby nightclub, and the lack of soundproofing means you can hear all the noise from the corridor- the room lacks door locks, which made me feel unsafe- no bedside shelf or cabinet, and no bedside lamps- the window has an opaque film, which seemed unnecessary given the room is on the 4th floor and there are curtains available- I found some hair on the bed sheets

The location is excellent. Very good value for money. Check in is very easy at the machine. You have everything you need to spend the night.

Straightforward - a large, no frills room to go to sleep in with excellent en- suite facilities

The entrance is not full of joy - but it does get much better once you’re in the lift

It's located in the middle of the city centre. It is very convenient to walk everywhere. We like to hear the sounds of the city so it didn't disturb our sleep, but there is a nightclub below the hotel. So if you are sensitive to noise you might want to think of another hotel.

Some stains here and there that I don't really wanna know what it is. The elevator smelled kinda bad, so my kid had to cover his nose. I would have wished for a table/shelf or something to put stuff on and also I full length mirror.

Check in was really easy using the screen outside. Location was great with lots of shops, bars & restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Train station was a 10 minute walk too.

The shower was very small, difficult to move.
