Pros +
- Did not eat at hotel. The room was a suite that was amazing. 4 flights of stairs w/o an elevator was a challenge but doable. No Air conditioning was ok but the room did heat up - used 2 fans to manage. Balcony was great.
- Central location, great outdoor restaurant seating, amazing ambience and modern rooms.
- Beautiful hotel with lots of charm and character. Friendly staff who provided the little extra touches to make a birthday special.
Cons -
- The price was over $200/ night a bit much but suite size room with furnishings… you pay for what you get?
- Parking is not in the same building but walking distance.
- To make it perfect a kettle in the room would be lovely.

Staff were helpful and friendly…… very friendly and popular with locals would stay again.
Parts were a little tired I would say
Superb food, lovely room and great ambience. Ideally suited for access to the town centre.
Nothing, all very good.
One of the most beautiful buildings in the centre of Paderborn, located right in front of a manicured square that contains some of the springs that are the source of the River Pader. The rooms are well decorated, stylish and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is excellent, the staff are very helpful and there’s so many other essential amenities very close by. With a secure place to store bikes this is an excellent place to explore the surrounding countryside from…
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
The cleaning of the outside tables etc was very noisy at 7am in the morning.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was in the attractive centre of Paderborn. There was private parking available nearby. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent.
Nothing !
Our room was great, very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was to order and there was a very wide choice to suit any dietary needs. The location was lovely, overlooking a river and park and close to the old part of Paderborn. Parking was available (€10) close to the hotel.
Nothing, all good.
We stayed at the garden suite. It’s a spacious quiet apartment looking over a beautiful courtyard. Well equipped.
The hotel breakfast was a selection of breads, meats, and cheeses, plus coffee. It was good.
The only thing worth noting is that there is no elevator and only stairs. This is just worth knowing if you will have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues.
hotel was very nice, cosy and very comfortable, nice old atmosfere with lot of wonderfull details. Personal was brilliant.
The breakfast I like to have possibility to choose from an buffet table.
An authentic place. If you want retro-feel, a right place it is.The cozy restaurant was very nice with good food.
The room was a bit cold.Woke up a couple of times.Bring your shampoo. Liquid soup is all you get.
The location is perfect and so quaint. It was an enjoyable experience.
There was construction going on outside our windows and staff talked loudly in the courtyard outside our windows.
Location and atmosphere of old building
Poor internet, newly built premises where we stayed first night
Lovely old building in the heart of Paderborn. Breakfast was very tasty - a typical Continental selection of tasty meats and cheeses, well worth the extra charge. The room was a very good size, exceptionally clean and contemporary. Staff were very friendly and helpful - language barrier was not an issue.
The shower could do with improvement. Took a lot of mastering due to the instantaneous water heater and low water pressure - although eventually it did the job.
It’s in a great location across from a nice park. It has a good restaurant in it. The breakfast is really good and comes with the room

Great value for money. Great rooms with great views right in the middle of the city.
There is only WiFi for a limited time.
The location and the personnel. Size of room.
Room decor needs a little freshening up.
