Simple but good hotel, clean, friendly staff

The hotel is located in what appears to be a bit of a seedy part of town (to the extent this can be said to apply to anywhere in Luxembourg City). It therefore doesnt look very promising from the outside. Inside it's totally fine though

If you’re arriving in Luxembourg by train from another European city, this is one of the hotels with an ideal location — it’s very close to the station.There are supermarkets, restaurants, and nightclubs nearby.The hotel fully matches the information they provide in their listing.

Very friendly lady at the reception-desk ; rooms were very nice and the shower was magical !

Rooms were way to warm and opening a window is not really an option with the loud noise at the street-side. However, sleeping without blanket did the trick.

The location is down a sketchy street… felt unsafe most of the time. Check in was challenging as the entrance is strange and the desk worker spoke no English. Overall the property is really strange.

Room was clean and had everything we needed - mini fridge, kettle, safe. Shower and WC separate. Window to inner courtyard - expected mechanical noise but there was none. Close to train station, but not noisy inside at all. Walkable to grocery store and restaurants. Neighborhood may look a little sketchy (gentlemen's clubs, bars, etc), but no issues at all. Free public transportation in Luxembourg!

Extra pillows would be appreciated.

JJ32 is an extremely functional hotel - however, don't take that to mean that it is basic. The rooms are super clean, the facilities within the room more than adequate, the air conditioning works well, the blinds are awesome and no noise when the windows are closed. The location is super useful to get around anywhere and there are loads of restaurants and bars nearby.

The neighborhood can appear a bit seedy but our group - 2 men and 1 woman did not have any concerns. The hotel could set out more clearly when the front desk is open - small point.

The building is old, entry and reception area are very narrow

Very comfy and clean room, the AC was a blessing as I was there during a heat wave. Close proximity to the the train station and to the tram stops to go to the city center. It was also possible to walk to the city center (around 15min walk).

As it's often the case near to the train stations, the street didn't feel like the safest street. But still, as a solo female traveler I had no issue during my stay.

Noisy neighborhood, the ventilation in the room was also quite loud.

Very good customer service , I don’t remember the person who assisted me but he was too good and helpful for booking taxi for us he personally took so much care towards his guests The girl at the reception also was very helpful and assisted us in giving us room prior to our checkin time Just 2 min walk for accessing Public Transport

I never wrote a review before but after what happened I had to.

The staff is just laughably bad.When I got the room the toilet was clotted when I told the guy downstairs he gave me a stick and a toilet solution. I told him that’s it’s not my job to fix it and he made it clear that the only options I have is to cancel my booking (find somewhere else to sleep) or to fix it myself. He didn’t even bother to come up and check it out.In the next day I came back in the afternoon and saw laundry in the only elevator.I told the guy (different one from yesterday) that there laundry in the elevator and he told me that I need to wait until the cleaning lady will finish or take the stairs. Taking out the laundry from the elevator wouldn’t take more than 30 seconds but same as yesterday he didn’t bother to get up of his chair and look in the elevator.Both of this situations could have been solved in a minimum effort that is expected from a hostel or even Airbnb host. But in this *hotel* they just don’t care!

The street is shady and not safe

Central location, pretty easy to get to attractions in the city. Room and bed was quite new, comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good.

The street outside is extremely noisy. We had a room right above a very busy bar, that was very loud with the door open from early in the night. We don't recommend for early or light sleepers.

Really loved the hotel, the staff were all so lovely and welcoming, the room was quirky but great, bed was comfy, our room overlooked the courtyard, so not pretty but quiet, and slept a treat! Loved the little touches in room, and having a fridge and kettle was brilliant. The road that the hotel is on, is a bit sketchy, but didn’t feel threatened at all, and such good location for the station!
