    Pros +

    • Since I wasn't able to take breakfast on site, I requested the breakfast bag, which is incredibly well stocked
    • Attached to the National Aquatic Center- free access to a 50m pool and diving boards. Right next to the tram line to downtown and airport. Very good breakfast. This is not a traditional hotel. Basically there are rooms attached to the National Aquatic Center where, I presume, the competitors stay and they rent the rooms out when there are no competitions.
    • Room clean & fairly large. Well laid out. Despite being a way out of town the tram ( free public transport) was welcomed. Buffet breakfast plentiful.

    Cons -

    • Rooms close to the wellness space are bit noisy during opening hours due to the customers go to and from it
    • Rush to get the room ready. Still waiting at 3.15 to get confirmation my room was ready and having to wait after a 5 hour drive. Seemed the staff were frustrated with housekeeping judging by the overheard phone conversation. Another hotel that only gives single duvets for a double bed. I always book a double and pay the premium but get a single duvet. Frustrating. Price reflects a premium however the experience was not premium. Parking €15 per night
    • The access to the rooms from the reception is like a maze and I got lost. The access to the swimming pool is restricted to specific times. The restaurant closed at 3 pm on Sunday leaving no local options. The Coque hall' s entrance to the tram was locked overnight with no clear directions to enter the hotel, I had to walk around the sport complex (500m) in the cold evening rain. The mattress was too soft for my liking. The room did not have an iron and ironing board, I had to go to the laundry room that was a mess and not particularly clean. The temperature in the room was a bit low to my liking.

Excellently located in Kirchberg, value for money, great breakfast, spacious rooms, cozy wellness spa

The swimming pool was first class and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was also nice and helpful. The room was spacious ,clean and silent.

Convenient location, large rooms, excellent breakfast!

Staff was not accommodating (did not make any effort to accommodate earlier check in and later check out) and barely polite!

Spacious room and the beds were comfortable. Friendly reception and breakfast staff. Breakfast is definitely worth it, nothing fancy, but really nice. Free motorcycle parking with camera surveillance, which was very important for me!

Shower water pressure was pretty poor. Due to my short stay I didn't really even bother to bring it up to the reception, but if I was about to stay longer, I would definitely ask for someone to check it. The entrance to the rooms area is not so nice, but not an issue at all.

Actually it was a good location, 5 min from the tram stop.

The whole room smelled, was saturated with cigarette smoke. it was impossible to breathe, the smell did not evaporate even with all night the window open. In the morning all the things smelled by cigarettes. And this is in a non-smoking room. The most annoying thing is that I could not change the room, since the reception is open until 20:00 local, and i was later in my room.

    Decent location and clean.

The price is too high plus the parking should have been included. Gets charged more for two people in one room vs one. Didn’t use anything extra but got charged for having a second person. Taxes not included in price so paid that on top.

    7AmyPosted on: 5-19-2025

It had an amazing pool, the tram stop is on premise, and they provided a decent breakfast.

There was no air conditioning and they were having problems with water pressure, thus showering took a long time.

    8MetinPosted on: 4-29-2025

The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was satisfying. Wifi reception is good.

The shower has low pressure. The kettle was cleaned by vinegar but not rinsed, hence it was unusable. Parking is expensive at 15 Euro per day.

The facilities provided including the pool are great. Rooms are big and very comfortable

    All was well

    8MariaPosted on: 4-11-2025

Location very confortable, in front of the tram station. The breakfast was nice with good variety although for 15euros (if not included in the room) I would expect bigger variety.

the mattress was curved in the middle and too soft. The parking was charged although in the entrance panel of the parking it was written that it is free for clients of Coque Hotel

Very cold in the room - heating didn't work - no help in the front desk. You advertised with "Excellent breakfast" - it was not even boiled eggs and the scframbled eggs was finished. I was waiting 20 mii - still no eggs.

Hotel in athletic complex with tram connections to the city center. Parking costs 15 euro. Basic breakfast. Clean and big room.

In the evening, from some time onwards you do not have access from the side that is the tram stop. You have to do the circle of the band. A little uncomfortable.

    8ErikPosted on: 4-3-2025

Location and easy access to city center via the tram, the breakfast

The matrasses of the beds are too softPressure of the water in the douche is too low

    7HuguesPosted on: 3-28-2025

Excellent value for money. You get what you want and it is very practical. Excellent location if you have meetings in Kirchberg.Easy to park in front (15€ additional per day).

But I wouldn't stay there for several days given the impersonal setting, but not necessarily very different from many business/seminar hotels probably. The reception is at a different place than the rooms, but distance-wise, it would be the same in a big hotel.

    7BronaghPosted on: 3-22-2025

The swimming pool and the easy access to the airport and town. The security guard was friendly when I arrived.

The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Day receptionists not very friendly.
