Hotel Le Place d'Armes - Relais & Châteaux

Wonderful location right in the action on Place d'Armes. Situated, a bit ironically between Louis Vuitton and McDonalds.

Beautiful, historic hotel in the center of a small plaza. Staff was amazing. We had a small dog, and immediately the staff brought in a dog bed, feeder bowls and special bottled water for our dog! Confusing layout, but beautiful decor; historic feel with modern amenities. Excellent restaurant and bar onsite. Our bathroom was heavenly and luxurious, very comfortable bed; good selection of TV channels in English.

Very expensive. No breakfast. When we arrived there was no parking/valet. We had to find a public lot, walk through many blocks to find the hotel. Lots of stairs.

The facilities were lovely. The proximity to the city center is both a positive and negative

The location was a bit off putting. The turn down service was inexistent, upon our first day at the hotel we had to wait an unreasonable amount to have our room cleaned when we have left the sign for the room to be cleaned. If turndown service only means turning on the tv and not changing the towels or setting up the bed for the night, I don’t know what it is.

The location in the center of the city couldn’t have been better. We were directly across the street from one of the liveliest Christmas markets in the city, and close to walking to anything we wished. The onsite restaurant was superb as well.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I stayed during Christmas and walked straight from the lobby into the Christmas market. The hotel bar area was a cozy place to relax. The staff were wonderful! The breakfast was delicious! The room was well appointed and spacious. I enjoyed my time and look forward to returning.

It was a great location. The building is confusing but charming. The staff was very friendly & professional.

We did not like the stairs in our suite. They were steep and slippery. It was difficult at night with the bathroom down the stairs.

Great location and easy to find using public transportation. Delicious food for all meals . Comfortable beds and nice sized bathroom. Staff provided excellent service.

We were provided easy directions to access the pedestrian area of town prior to our stay. We were greeted with friendly and helpful staff-and a glass of champagne! The facilities are classic modern and offered great space. The location was spectacular right in the heart of town. Breakfast was also great. They recommended a delicious restaurant and even made reservations for us.

Bathrooms, while still nice, are beginning to show their age. No other concerns.

After being warmly welcomed by the staff, I entered one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was dreamy. I was lucky enough to pour a table in the restaurant, Cristallerie, where I enjoyed the chefs tasting menu. It was an experience. I will never forget well worth the visit on all count!

The only thing I didn’t like was having to check out.

Uber and taxi cannot always drop off and pick up in front of hotel.

Room is not per the photos given. “That room” is for photos only and the actual rooms are very standard. Service and understanding of food hygiene and cross contamination was poor. Examples of wrong orders coming to a table and touched by guests was just taken and swapped! Breakfast very poor and buffet turned out at 7am and left. I would recommend eating outside of the hotel. Billing incorrect. Drinks orders incorrect. Promises made but not fulfilled. Would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent customer service, staff were attentive and welcoming. Lovely room and a fabulous location.

the room they gave us at the beginning was not what I expected and I was little disappointed as we did want a spacious room and it was very cold with no control to heating and but they helped us move to a warmer room thank God

Loved the unique architecture of this hotel. Had a very wonderful dinner in restaurant in hotel. Staff at restaurant and hotel very professional and happy to please.
