The room and hotel is very pretty

Our room (room 5) was extremely noisy. It felt like all the airconditioning pipes of the hotel were in our room, and the noise of leaking water/compressors kept coming and goingIt made our night sleep very uncomfortable.Additionally, showering in the bath tub is pretty uncomfortable, but expected when viewing the room before booking

The room is very small. Inside the restaurant was very hot. Rooms were cool.

Great location and so special to sleep in these cubicles above the church floor. Downstairs there is an awesome restaurant!!

Beautiful hotel in old church. Gorgeous decoration and phenomenal restaurant.

We arrived on Monday and they close early Monday and the restaurant isn't open on Monday. So not all facilities, like the restaurant, were available. There is no lobby, so we were stuck in our room and couldn't really visit with our friends.

Extraordinary conversion of a large, ornate church. Has to be seen and experienced!

As its a conversation with bedrooms inserted into the upper part of the building, ventilation in the bedrooms is poor. Despite this, air conditioning is provided. Access to the bedrooms is by a steep, historic staircase. Don't let these compromises discourage you. Overall, it's a unique delight!

The interior of the restaurant is interesting.. I forgot my scarf and they promised to send it....I am curious if it ever arrives

The room was simply horrible. Open toilet and shower. Cold and bad lighting in all the facilities.Dirty carpet. We hardly slept and left very early. For giving us the wrong room they wanted to compensate as with the breakfast...because we left early and we felt so disgusted and cold we did not even want to bother to ask for early breakfast. The AC was doing the noice of a horrible motor on and of not doing the job.

Staying in a suspended box in the rafters of an old church was an unusual and almost exciting experience!

No real bathroom … facilities kind of in the same room.

Funky and chic property. Very cool and imaginative use of the church space with the bedroom pods suspended over the restaurant below. Exceptionally friendly staff. We were able to store our bikes in a courtyard (not covered so they got wet overnight). We had a fantastic breakfast

Cleaning was an issue in all 3 rooms, on some days despite putting the hanger on the door requesting cleaning it was not done, or was done partially (towels taken but not replaced, bins not emptied) In room 12 one of the pillows was stained with what we hope was fake tan, or ladies makeup - this was obviously not noticed by the cleaning staff. No options for breakfast, only the selection given by the hotel, which was nice but not great.

Air conditioning in room 8 has a very bright light that can keep you from sleeping properly. Would recommend to tape it If possible

The rooms are not very spacious and if you are not very comfortable with each other, the rooms might not be it for you, as the toilet is basically in the room next to the bed

We really enjoyed our stay at theChurch Hotel - an extravagant hotel. Staying in a former church is a special and unforgettable experience.The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Another highlight was the rich and exquisite breakfast.The Church Hotel is highly recommended.

The church hotel is very impressive, given that you actually have a room inside a church and rooms are very modern and stylish. Staff is also super friendly and accommodating.

On the other hand, because of the setup this hotel is not super convenient. Rooms are small and do not have windows towards outside, so you only have the a/c to get fresh air. Rooms also have an open toilet, so if you're not close with the person you sleep with, this is a bit awkward. Also, if you want to work, there is no actual reception downstairs with a bar or room for you to sit and have a call for example.
