Hotel Sighişoara

Location, room, and food were all good. The staff are phenomenal too.

It was right in the middle of the citadel, everything around you is a walking distance

Parking. You don’t have parking close by. You have to leave your car down at the gate . I don’t know, probably it’s just me, a little bit paranoia about my car full with my stuff unattended in the middle of the street.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town. Thank you to the very helpful staff. Nice restaurant too.

The mattresses were not comfortable. We couldn't get laundry service due to Easter Holiday. The hotel did not give clear instructions (despite me asking) for where to park my car and how to park my car. I didn't know the town and hotel were on top of the hill. It was ok for us to hike up to the hotel but I would have appreciated clear and detailed Instructions.

Excellent location right adjacent to the main square.

There was no WiFi in the room. We asked staff at the reception twice to look at it. We were told it was fixed but there was still no WiFi in the room. Also the water from the radiator heater in the bathroom leaked and flooded the entire pathway to the toilet.

The parking wasn’t as expected, I had yo leave my car keys in reception so they moved my car in and out several times to let other cars in and out. It was fine, but it was different from what I had expected about that.

The location is as expected and the room was very large (they upgraded me free of charge as it was the off season). The room has large windows that open for a look onto the piata with a window seat. The tub is also very spacious and the water was blazing hot and available most hours. The floor is carpeted so it doesn't feel cold and the room was mostly clean (except for some mold in the bathroom).

The hotel isn't heated in the modern sense and the room doesn't have a thermostat. This was a bit uncomfortable in the middle of winter with a toddler. You have to wrap well in order to sleep and wear socks. The filter coffee in the restaurant is *horrible* and tastes like dishwater. The food in the restaurant is also "meh" bordering on bad, maybe even microwaved. My daughter's chicken breast was hard as a rock and inedible (we couldn't even cut it with the knifes at the table) but they still charged us.

It was very well located in the city centre of Sighișoara. The room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was also good. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was quite limited. Mostly the heating system wasn't working whole night in the room. So in the night it was cold. The blankets were smelly but looks clean.

The staff are exceptional: very helpful and so nice. Breakfast was good. Our first morning we had breakfast from the menu with buffet style for the other two. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was great. Location is also perfect for exploring the area. The hotel is like a museum and everytime we went to our room we noticed something.

Not something we didn't like and didn't really matter to us since it's just commonsense...noise from the square and street echoes off the buildings and I imagine would be loud especially if during peak season.

The room was very spacious and clean. The location was in the center of old town which made it very handy to explore the town and to enjoy the sights. They had a very nice breakfast with many options to choose from and also very good coffee. We ate at their restaurant one evening and enjoyed a very delicious meal there. Everything about this stay was perfect. The staff were all very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very delicious food and the location of the hotel is perfect! I loved to walk around in the hotel, because of its interior. The old building is well preserved!

We were located in 107 room, which is above the restaurant. We had to close the window for awhile, because of the smells.

Centrally located in a historic property which was the old archbishop's palace.

Very tired decor, and a bathroom from the 1970s,with a wobbly basin pedestal and mouldy grouting. No offer of help with heavy bags up the stairs despite no lift and a strong young man available at reception. Breakfast included stale cheesecake, coffee from a thermos, and some unappetising looking ham. No airconditioning on two very hot nights, and fan not sufficient to cool the room. Overall, took the shine off our visit to this very pretty historic town. Would not recommend.

The building is historic, handsome, and in a splendid location. Staff is attentive and kind. It was nice to be able to pay on site and not early. Free breakfast was very convenient.

Well, it was 37° outside, and inside the room it felt the same. The fan they provided was helpful. Maybe a ceiling fan, too?

The location was perfect right in the centre of the old town in the fortress. The hotel is charmingly old fashioned.

The misleading information that the hotel has parking available. Parking is not allowed in the old city centre and we needed to find a parking outside.
