    Pros +

    • There was a pretty staircase, and the hotel is close to the motorway.
    • Clean, friendly and cosy with top quality restaurant
    • We were travelling through Germany so location by the motorway was key. The hotel staff were friendly and the food both at dinner and breakfasy was good.

    Cons -

    • We booked the hotel because it said on booking.com, that they had check-in 24/7 and the possibility for breakfast at the hotel. When we booked it, we didn't have the option of choosing breakfast, but that we could order at the place. We arrived in the night everything was dark and closed, so we had to pick up the key at the fuelstation across the street, which was ok. We then had to pay in cash, which we were not told, therefore didn't have cash, so we had to search to get cash. We then received the key, but NO instructions on where to get in. There are several doors, and several places where it says "Entrance". We then spend half an hour (!!) to find the door to get in. The staircase was very pretty, the room was a fine size but with stone hard beds, and a shower with black mould. Because everything was closed when we came, we couldn't order breakfast. Therefore we got up early to try and order breakfast in the morning. We were, again, met with all dark and closed hotel. On top of that, all information in the room was in German, nothing in English (Only on the front door), so we actually don't know, if that said anything regarding this. For check-out there was, again, NO information where to go or who to talk to. We looked around the property to find a human being. When we found one, we were met with "Why didn't you just go in there, you had a key", well, we didn't know, and there was NO signs or information what so ever. All in all, we were NOT satisfied with our stay.
    • There was no kettle in the room.
    • Nothing much, although I would have preferred the traditional German Thermos flask of coffee rather than the machine dispenser version.

Personal service for breakfast but good selection. Room was large, clean and with private balcony. Little cold at first but warmed up. Plenty of parking, wifi a little slow but usable. Easy access to and from Autobahn despite roadworks. Hostess friendly and efficient.

Nothing much, although I would have preferred the traditional German Thermos flask of coffee rather than the machine dispenser version.
