Pros +
- Het ontvangst en de check in ging zeer soepel en snel. Hotel ligt dicht bij het oude centrum van Osnabruck. Voor 1 nacht een prima hotel. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
- Absolutely nothing because their customer service team don’t respond to queries. They are adamant on critical situations and they don’t care what happens.
- Great location, close to the station and at a 10 min walk from the city center. Breakfast was great.
Cons -
- Could not check in with Visa credit card. Only ONE TINY PIECE OF SOAP for two people. I understand budget, but that is extreme. John and Carole Ruby, Aurora IL USA
- I had an incident on a double charge which I reported to the hotel but they turn deaf ear to my request. There was countless messages and emails but they never showed up and this is a very bad service to run a hotel.

Great location, close to the station and at a 10 min walk from the city center. Breakfast was great.
Very small and thin duvets on the beds. It was very cold. I would improve that point.
Right beside the main train station - was convenient for my late arrival.
I and 2 other people had issues with the after-hours automatic check-in when I arrive around midnight. I was finally able to obtain my room info after a frustrating navigation through various options, but the others were not being very successful. Much improvement needed! Also my room did not have a room number - written in almost illegible pen on the door and the bathroom light did not work.
room was clean.
What I did not like is that the automatic checkin was unsuccessful (payment worked, but the machine did not give me the room code in a receipt) and nobody was at the front desk at ~ 8 p..m. when I wanted to checkin in person. I had to wait 15 min for the attendant to come. No towels in the room so that I had to return to the front desk for it.
Clean and quite close - about 100 m. to HBF.
The AC wasn't working, so I couldn't close the window — I had to put up with all the 'fun' noise from the railway station. Breakfast was disappointing — the only hot dish was lukewarm boiled eggs. For a small town in Germany, I could get a much better breakfast almost anywhere else.
How close it was to the station
The rude check-in staff. I am disabled and struggled to get in the building. I rang the bell a few times, and nobody came. Eventually after ringing a final time, someone came. I lady at check in was rude telling me that my child was over 12 so couldn't be a child. Despite me booking through Booking dot com, where I added her as a child aged 15. I said it needed to be sorted out between them and booking. She was then rude as my name didn't match exactly as my passport. By now I got very upset and mentioned I would not be returning again. There was spilled coffee in the lift amd the walls needed a good paint or scrub down in the room.
Low quality hotel with issues
Turned up and our room has no sheets on the bed for our child. As there were no staff in the hotel when we arrived, I had to go searching around the entire hotel to find these and make the bed ourselves. Air conditioning didn’t work (room was hot)Room was tinyShower was temperamentalLack of pillows (had to use towels)
Hair & blood from previous guest was not cleaned on shower wall. Clumsy bunk bed, narrow spaces
I didn’t like the dirty shower wall that has hair & blood ? from the previous guest. The funky bunk bed and the very narrow space to walk around the bed. The tiny window and the undesirable crowd loitering in front of the hotel especially after the reception is closed.
We got evacuated out of the hotel on the Sunday at 06:00 and we were not allowed back in till after midnight. I left my wallet in the hotel room and couldn’t get back in to get it. Worse again there was ? 150£. Taken out of my wallet. I could believe it couldn’t get a manager to report it
The facilities are ok (especially for Ibis budget)Breakfast is also ok (nothing hot - German classics)Next to the train station
Parking lot is pathetic - just 6-7 places (of course always busy)Noisy in rooms
Was prima
Shower.. was very hot or very cold ( forgot 2 say it 2 the hotel room 420)
the location near the train station would be great if you’d arrive by train or use it to go somewhere else. the staff was very nice and the breakfast was limited but tasty. the code to open the hotel room door instead of a key was very handy.
the rooms were not cleaned properly. the mattress of the single bed above the double bed was not cleaned. there were stains and hairs on it. the shower was the worst. there were hairs and stains on the walls so we first had to clean the shower ourselves. showering in itself was awful too. it was impossible to regulate the water temperature. it went from a nice temperature to scorching hot, then ice cold, continuously. my skin was completely red by the time I was finished.
The move from a room with no heating to fairly close by on same floor to a nice warm room. And the TV worked too. Though we didn't need a train, central location is good for all kinds of needs. Breakfast certainly provided ample nourishment. Shame about lack of toaster due to previous guests unable to use properly :-/Staff: Daniel at night found us the warm room. David Retschke was most helpful in the morning when we not only enjoyed breakfast, but he also was helpful as we had to wait for ADAC to get organized - we had to take the room because our car broke down near Osnabrück.Well done ibis, hang on to those good guys!
A way to reopen the toilets in the reception area would be very convenient.
Breakfast was a little disappointing in terms of selection
The acess code process was unhelpful. Also given there was a firecevacuation there was no subsequent contact from management
Distance to train station. View onto train station. Breakfast was good. Elevator worked well. Safe neighbourhood. Perfect for travelling not-with-automobile. Room climate control. Secure room. Room large considering budget.
Pillows were soso. Bed a bit hard. Shower door leaked water if not carefully directing jet away from door.
The location is perfect and easy to access
There is not enough parking space, and cleaning of bedsheets are not well, it has some dirty marks
The room was very clean, and equipped with nice lights having switches next to the bed.
The blanket could have been a bit bigger.
Very close to train station, breakfast available, reasonable check out time and good value stay
They would not let guests access the property before 3pm check in, even to leave bags. Guests also had problems trying to collect bags between 11am check out and 3pm check in, where doors are locked and access is limited
