    Pros +

    • The room was large, very clean and had everything we may need. There was no AC but they provided a nice (very quiet) tripod fan.The staff was very friendly, even when we asked to check in late.Breakfast was fine, as good as can be expected of such a place, and the location was gorgeous.
    • Staff is very friendly as usual.
    • Il n'y a pas des poux.

    Cons -

    • The room was huge, but there was not much to sit on in the large open space that seemed meant for it. Also, the TV was at the desk, which was away from the bed (probably only this way for the large room arrangement) and was hard to watch from the bed.
    • Simply there was nothing I didn't like. The only item that is missing is an EV Charging hub... but they confirmed that they have a project ongoing
NO SLEEP.I had to put the bedding in the bathroom, the pillows against the toilet in order to try and put a second wall between me and the TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE noise. Sleeping on a bathroom floor is not much fun. It is IMO DISHONNEST to sell Hotel rooms to third parties when the Hotel knows a party with loud music is going to take place. I was fortunate that I killed neither myself, nor anyone else on my onward journey. It would have been safer to drive on through the night rather than stopping off at this Hotel. They promised coffee would be available at 7am, it wasn't, and there was nowhere to deposit the key.

    the weather wasn't that good

Nice location and friendly staff, big bathtub, dog friendly

Smelly and moist room, seems to be hard to get it dry. Too expensive for what it is, room didn’t look like the ones advertised, was rather empty, and seemed unfinished. pillows on the desk and not on the bed when we arrived.

quiet location in the countryside.parking is available in the street in front of the hotel. the personnel is very kind, polite and available to help.breakfast is good, with a sweet and a savory section.

keep in mind that the road to reach the hotel is a bit narrow at some points. it may be challenging if you have a large car and there is a truck coming from the other side.the room was very basic and a bit old with damaged furniture. I would have liked to have more power sockets. i think that. overall it was a bit overpriced.

The room was clean, bed linen clean, bathroom modern and clean. The included breakfast was average including rolls, cheese, cold meats, coffee machine and one could order some eggs etc

The beds were extremely uncomfortable - the spring matresses were aweful and we both had a terrible nights sleep. The room was sterile with no pictures on the walls, only 1 bedside light, no working light at the desk. Not worth the cost overall. The online pictures of the rooms were misleading compared to the room we were assigned. The room next door also looked directly into our room - we were unit 8 of the annex - neighbouring rooms looks directly into it.

I booked for 1 night as a break from a long trip from Germany to UK.Upon arrival i noticed a wedding was taking place and was concerned of the possible late night noise. The manager was very understanding and put me in the furthest room in a separate villa they had which was very nice.I did here some noise in the night but they did their very best to accommodate me so i have no complaints.Very nice and helpful staff.

I had an evening main dish (1 plate) and 2 beers which was £37 Euro's - a little expensive. The breakfast was very poor, cold omelette and bacon (tealite candles to heat a large stainless bain marie??) overcooked croissants, this could have easily been improved upon.

well placed. the location was nice. for what we had to do in the region.

no toilet seat. no hot water. poor breakfast.

    7MikePosted on: 5-29-2022

Perfect location, beautiful buildings and gardens.

The bed... i felt the springs of the matras when trying to sleep. And i do like my sleep, everything else was just great though.

    Breakfast was very good

We didn’t like the room we were put in although the bathRoom was good but the sink was blocked so the water didn’t go down quickly. However after informing reception that sorted out the problem straight away.

Nice and clean rooms. They served the five star breakfast in the room. Everything felt very covid safe! Nice area for dog walks.
