De Vesten Comfort Lodge

It was a very small hotel (3 rooms) related to a relatively large conference center. The hotel rooms were in a separate section where the very nice Thai restaurant is located. The breakfast was very well organized, special egg dishes could be made on request. The room as clean and spaceous, airco worked well. Large and private balcony. we had garden view.Value for money.

Above a great Thai restaurant, great staff, great beds, excellent breakfast with eggs cooked on demand, free parking.

Its also a party/reception location so this might impact the noise during you stay but we did not have any issue. Its not a classic hotel setup. No elevator to the rooms (only 1 flight of stairs) so maybe not so comfortable for persons with reduced mobility.

To my surprise quite noisy ventilation, in the room, the noise it constant, getting a sleep is quite a challenge

Very spacious room. Excellent Wifi. Plenty of hot water. Continental buffet breakfast but with chef on hand for one freshly cooked dish (eg eggs). Location hard to score, its a quiet spot with easy access to the motorway, but the scenery is not exciting and it would be a long walk into town.

Weather could have been better - but it was mid-winter so it could have been a whole lot worse

The room was quite ok and clean

Road side hotelCheck in was very difficult, an event was ongoing and no staff was present.Check out was also without any staff.Breakfast was very bad.They use a ‘ring for service’ button that does not work, we and other guests had to wonder about to find someone to talk to.The restaurant obligated us to order two main dishes and refused our initial order of snacks and main, although we did not need or want more food. The restaurant was not even have occupied, so there was no reason to have any demands.

Everything was ok. Maybe just breakfast could be more varied, we had different varieties of egg preparation every morning

Everything, location was perfect , the room was extremely spacious and super clean . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with loads of choice and always well presented. A fabulous stay and will definitely be going back to stay .

There was nothing I didn't like .

flat was ok and clean.. but be prepared where u have to go... the nice picture is misviewing it is not there!the rooms which they call hotel room is on top og the flat

flat was not cleaned first day, owner says it was not included but on booking.com it is clearly written with housekeeping and soap and shampoo etc.. no iron .. you have to request it. no soap shampoo etc given till we complained.horrible area. and none of the rooms have any enterance from the picture they show. u have to go via the enterance is via the THAI restaurant. the flat is on top of a exhibition center EXPO .. NOT PART OF THE Complex - metal gate.. metal stairs with big holes... if you drop something it will be hard to pick it up. i would be careful if you book this place. no bar ... no restaurant open... very boringbreakfast was not so good...did not get breakfast the last day of our stay.gates were locked... so in the evening if you want to sit outside you cannot come into the garden they advertise.for sure NOT a hotel at all!

Nice place and (for me) very convenient location.

Breakfast was nice (served by a very friendly lady) but (for me) could have been a bit more healthy (like more fruit & cereals).

Good location , very private , the room was large and perfectly clean . Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented.

Since we were participating to an Asian festival just opposite to the entrance, this location was simply perfect.Nice appartement that offers 3 bedrooms a living and kitchen/tables facilities for more than 8 persons.3 Cool rooms & 2 bathrooms; this was perfect for some cool down after a full day market work.

As we booked via Booking.com, there was a default price that was more expensive (based on full occupancy) than the actual stay if booked for 5 people directly via Domein de Vesten.Even changing the N° of occupants did not change it.The advertisement should mention that the appartment is not accessible for disabled people (1st floor without elevator)Not an issue for us... but might be for others.

the suite we booked was never mentioned to be away from the hotel

the hotel overbooked and then gave us a suite in a completely different building ;((

Very friendly and helpful, room was very nice, breakfast was ok

The room was comfortable and the bar fridge well stocked. The was plenty parking. We struggled to locate and operate the EV charging station but this was because we are new to electric cars. The breakfast was also superb.

The room was not sound proof and we could hear the couple or TV in room next door chatting late into the night.

The hotel was clean throughout and the rooms were in an excellent condition with all the little extras to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Very quiet, and the breakfast was wonderful.
