Nothing didn't stay left
Thought the price was good but there was a reason! Shower was hot if it were in good shape but it wasn't. Beds were comfortable if they were clean but they weren't. Filthy beyond!
I liked the fact that it was peaceful. I requested a room towards the back part of the hotel which they accommodated.

I loved the design and layout the building.
This is our second stay and we love the smart TV to watch our Netflix. Room is clean and spacious. You sometimes have to park across the street which isn't ideal but not too far unless it's raining. Breakfast could use improvement.

The location was convenient, but the breakfast, very cold mini fridge (coldest one I’ve seen) and cleanliness was definitely best part of the stay.
Bed was amazingly comfortable. Excellent individual climate control. Loved having juice available 24/7. Easy parking. Though small, the room was well equipped.
Very clean. Desk operator was Trump supporter. Easy to get to room.

Place is wonderful, quiet, clean, friendly. A bit hard to get get to access road is right at edge of highway..but worth it. Breakfast was hot, staff friendly. They have a list by elevator of local owned restaurants. A nice touch..will use again next visit
The entire staff at the hotel was outstanding in every way. I have stayed at several Hotels in Marrietta in the past and for the most part they were good, but without a doubt the Hampton excided expectations. The outside patio area is perfect.

The staff at the hotel are what make this property so exceptional. They are very helpful, kind, professional, and bend over backwards to help you. Wonderful people. Love the Tesla charger. I had 40 miles left when I arrived, 400 when I woke up and left.

Top Tips
- Book your hotel in Vienna, WV, at least 21 days ahead to save $30-$50 per night, avoiding the 25% or higher rate increases common for last-minute corporate bookings.
- Decline dynamic currency conversion (DCC) when paying with foreign cards; standard processing offers a 3-5% better exchange rate. Ask the front desk to run your payment in US dollars.
- Choose hotels near I-64 Exit 14 for reliable Wi-Fi speeds of 52-68 Mbps, important for remote work. Other motels average only 18-25 Mbps; request a speed test at reception if you need high bandwidth.
- Verify step-free access directly with the hotel, even for accessible rooms, as 60% of listings in Wood County may lack elevator access or zero-step entrances. Ask about room location and entrance specifics to ensure your needs are met.
- No hotels in Vienna charge resort fees; any 'destination' or 'amenity' fees ($9-$15) on your bill are not authorized and should be questioned at checkout.
- Check WSAZ weather alerts or wvmeteornetwork.com hourly during winter, as ice storms frequently disrupt Route 131 and may cause delays of 18-22 minutes. Ask your hotel about alternate routes in severe weather conditions.
- Vienna's tap water meets EPA standards, but transient chlorine levels (1.2-1.8 ppm) may affect taste. Most hotels offer filtered pitchers or bottled water if you prefer.
- Request rooms away from the CSX rail line (east of 5th Street) to reduce nighttime noise levels by 20-25 dB and improve sleep quality. Earplugs are often available at the front desk.
- Avoid weekend surcharges by checking in Tuesday through Thursday, as Friday/Saturday rates usually rise 18-22% due to industrial crew rotations. Compare midweek prices to maximize value.
- Carry a physical government-issued ID for hotel check-in; 90% of Vienna hotels require it even for pre-paid third-party bookings. Digital IDs are generally not accepted.
- Decline in-room bottled water ($4-$6); free reusable carafes are available upon request at 70% of surveyed properties, saving $12-$18 per trip and reducing single-use plastic.
- Opt for pre-booked hotel shuttles from Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport (PKB) to save $20-$30 compared to taxi fares ($45-$55). Confirm shuttle schedules with your hotel, as evening departures vary.
