Hotel La Pergola

The room was very nice, modern and clean. The staff was friendly. They have free coffee and tea. They also provide free umbrellas for you to use in case of rain. The location was good, not too far from a bus station.

There was no air conditioning so we had to open the window for ventilation.

The staff was so accommodating and let me keep my bags there throughout the day since I couldn't bring them around. The room was really nice and perfect for my stay. The location was a short walk to the U.S. Embassy, the riverfront, and bars and restaurants.

The location was fantastic as the property is in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood at walking distance from the centre. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was nice everywhere. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfastroom was very cosy.

Location Coffee available 24 hrs was the biggest bonus

Room size was small but clean Maybe remove chair and replace with luggage rack holder

While it was about 6 blocks from the train station with our medium luggage it's doable. Staying 4 nights as a base to see Bern, Interlaken ost-brienz-lauterbrun, Lucerne, on our 3 days. Switzerland is expensive for dining! Hotel leaves the dining room open for guests to use dishes, oil/vinegar, microwave, coffee/tea machine which is perfect allowing us to go to coop or Migros to bring dinner with beer/wine home. Mini refrigerator in the room kept bag of salad, and such for the next day. Breakfast was really good! I would stay again!

Had to step up to enter shower a little difficult for mobility issues but wonderful water pressure and hot water!

The room was compact and there was no AC, but it was very quiet, clean, and cozy. Staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Would recommend to those who value peace over luxury.

This property is an easy eight minute walk from the train station. It sits back off the street so it’s super quiet. The rooms are small great for one person. They have two person rooms I guess but I didn’t see them.Very clean. Comfortable bed.The breakfast was exceptional. The service was even better. This is a little gem of a boutique property.

Rooms are small. Didn’t need much space for overnight though.

Staff were nice and put my cheese in the fridge for the duration of my stay. There were enough accessible plugs for laptop and phone chargers. Near the reception area is a decent table if one needs some space to work.

I had a single room and needed to do some work. The table is too small (round and the size of a large pizza) and the top is not fixed (turning). No decent chair either. I was also missing a safe for valuables.

Modern, clean, efficient

The staff and the service were great. The rooms are comfortable and convenient. The sitting area in the garden is very nice.

We had a good nights sleep, it was comfortable. Quiet location.

Our room wasn’t very clean and a lot of visible wear and tear.

Everything was clean and comfortable, but lots of little gestures made our stay exceptional. For example, coffee in the lobby was free even though we did not pay for breakfast. Kettles were available to take up to our room for tea. The hotel had umbrellas for us to borrow when it was raining. And the staff were friendly and helpful after we had checked out but wanted to explore the city for a bit longer.

For starters, the receptionist offered to upgrade my room to a larger one which turned out to be far more comfortable than what I was expecting. Location was perfect to get around through the historic center, and very close to the main train station. Room was quiet, clean, updated and very comfortable

Nothing to dislike

Staff were very helpful, and there is free ice cream and coffee/tea available all day. The room was clean and comfortable, and they came to remake the bed even after one night. Didn’t expect to have a private bathroom, as Booking said it was a shared one - so that was a nice bonus!

Room was a little bit hot, but a fan was provided.

Location is good but a decent walk from the train station. Staff were great.

Quaint, quiet, away from all the crowds. Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Coffee bar and ice cream included!

Missed not having a small fridge and coffee maker in the room. No AC, but we knew that ahead of time and the fan provided got us through the evening.
