Hotel City AM Bahnhof

The location and a very friendly staff.

I had a crummy little room, dark with a tiny window. Could not leave it open to get a foul bathroom smell out as it was quite windy (not the hotel’s fault!).

The location was excellent. Minutes away from the US embassy, train station and old town of Bern.

One night we lost power in the room. We called the front desk and they fixed the problem.

I loved the location near the main train station.

I didn't know the "continental breakfast" wasn't free. That may be a cultural difference from the United States. It wasn't a very good breakfast for the high price.

The location is ideal. Right next to the train station, the gorgeous old town and river!

Superb location, right in front of the train and tram station. The old town starts just after the hotel. It was very clean. The staff was super friendly.

Light was broken and sink was clogged to start. The staff were helpful to fix it. The showerhead never stayed in place during showers and facilities are quite outdated. Pillowcases also did not smell fresh.

The room had a terrace with nice view to the city.

The furniture, the shower door are a bit old and worn, and the room is a cramped.

This hotel was better than I expected! It was located in a very busy section of town, across from the train station. Yet, it was very quiet. We had two adjoining rooms to accommodate our family, which made it very roomy and comfortable.

I have no complaints. I really liked this place.

The location is superb. Just a few walks from hotel, you literally can see the station right outside the lobby. The hotel is old, but it’s kinda interesting for me. It gave me the vintage vibes.

No AC. I imagine how we can handle the temp if we stay there on July. When we stayed there on early August, the weather is nice. So we obviously had a nice sleep.

Breakfast, no air conditioning, old and not renovated

Very close to train station, close to restaurants, stores, parks, all in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.

I didn't like my view from my room, but I did not come to stay in my room.

This location was super central. Less than a block away from the main train station in Bern. Access to the bus system was super easy and close.

No lobby or area where our family could gather together for games.

Excellent location, close to train station, city rail, and downtown Bern.

Excellent location , comfy beds , very clean , had a mini fridge , the front desk clerk was very helpful.

The room was a little on the small side , only one chair , they made it sound like breakfast was included. But it was not and it was €16 each

Nothing whatsoever.

It reminded me of walking into the housing projects in a large city. The interior of the room was marred by splotches of paint scuffs and missing paint. The design is ugly. The place is a very expensive dump.

Good location and near bus routes

Dated, no ac, and hot. Beds and pillows not very comfortable. Construction work started at 6:30am in units near by waking everyone.

Run down and not inviting at all , staff was not friendly , hot and noisy , our room didn’t have the # on the wall beside the door , keys were big and bulky and you had to give them to the front desk when you left and pick them up when you returned … find somewhere else to stay
