Very nice hotel, close to the city center, with a lovely view of the river. Tasty and really big portion of dinner, great breakfast and nice staff. What else to need?

Nice and new hotel, good rooms! Staff is super nice and welcoming/helpful. The half board included in the price is a really good deal :-) My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

The AC didn’t work (were 35 Celsius degrees) and the drapes and walls were dirty. No mosquito nets so we didn’t have the chance to open the windows at the night, to cool down the room. Regarding the food: was a big disappointment for us because the selection was very limited, not appropriate for a 4 star hotel, maybe for a 2 star… I have a comparative examples: Auszeit hotel in lambrecht, Austria or B the Hotel in sfantu Gheorghe, Romania. Both 4 stars hotel in small towns, same price per day for a family of 4 people and the quality of the food and the facilities are way over Open hotel Szentes. ?One example: the breakfast time is between 8 to 10 am and at 9 there weren’t any pancakes already and when we asked they said that are finished ?. Than my daughter sow a sandwich maker in the corner and asked if is possible to do a sandwich, at least. The toast bread was finished also, in the basket, so again we asked for bread and we received ONE slice, the cutting of…. It was 2-3 days old but we managed to make a toast ? Same story at the dinner- if one food is finished, they didn’t refill it. The variety was limited: 2 soups (one normal, one sweet from fruits), 2-3 meats and 2-3 side dishes, one desert, one salad - not what to expect from an 4 stars hotel. If you are vegan - no chance to have a decent meal here, if you are vegetarian maybe, same salad every dinner with some bland rice/french fries…

The breakfast is good, although I lack fruits and vegetables that could be consumed as a "lighter" morning meal. cured meat products, spreads, bread are excellent, fried bacon and sausages are great. For dinner, there is a lack of green vegetables and salad with Mediterranean dressing (especially for those of us who have been in this hotel for a long time. There is enough of everything and it is delicious!

In one wing of the hotel, the internet was not the best, which is important to me because of my work. After I mentioned my problem at the reception, they tried to fix it and in the end I got a replacement room which is great and has enough internet to work all day.

Clean, air conditioning in hallways, decent breakfast, accommodating staff, comfortable bed, nice balcony, roomy modern bathroom- what a gem!!

it requires some maintenance repairs, broken sunbeds + other, the climate does not work properly.

Despite being a fairly new establisment, traces of ageing are already visible (cracks on the wall, imperfect/difficult close of window, creaky shower door, etc..).Winter related issue: heating is noisy but ok, however….I stayed in a room on the ground floor. In the bathroom there is no floor heating thus the floor was freezing cold.

The location is nice, close to a lake and a park (I enjoyed jogging). The hotel is great, the rooms are big, nice and clean. It has a nice pool to relax in. The food was very good and varied. The personnel was welcoming and really attentive to all the details.

The hotel is close to the river 'Kurca' where a little walk could be taken in the beautiful nature. Location of the hotel is perfect, it is near to the city center as well.

The wall painting need to be refurbished in some places.

The walls were dirty and also damaged as well. In the shower the seal was missing from the drainage unit, this can cause an incident.

The head waiter was very kind, helpful, attentive and polite, and he raised the standard of the place a lot. The food is delicious, the selection is small.

The A/C could not handle this 40 degree heat, the room could not be cooled below 28 degrees Celsius.
