Best Western Hotel Journel Paris Sud

When our reservation in another hotel was cancelled without a further note Best Western gladly took us spontaneous for a room. Since we were there for a festival we could directly go to our room to get ready, after our travel from Germany. The older lady from the reception was an absolute sweetheart and made sure we were probably taken care of now. Since the hotel was next to a clinic, it was super quiet.

- Small room- You can hear all the noise from the corridor, people talking, doors opening and shutting etc.-No peep hole so you cannot see who is knocking on your door before you open.One night there were people knocking on different room doors and hiding around 2am. It was very frightening as solo female.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic in helping us with everything we needed. Rooms and hotel are clean and comfortable

Super friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Many windows. High floor seemed quiet. Convrnient to Metro 8 and walkable to Seine, and Tour Eiffel

Subway rumbles underground shook building a little intermittently. Rooms are smallish but it's Paris so be outside!

I had a noicy room - somewhere came some noise like water tripping Traffic in the morning is terrible Breakfast is the 14 euro not worth

standard 3 star hotel nothing special nothing to complain. Enjoyed my stay here. please make sure that there is no option for food in hotel (expect for breakfast). The neighborhood has good hotel and bakeries around it.

Does the trick as a hotel close enough to Orly at a pretty good value. Traffic can get bad though so plan your timing.

Parking lot was very full. Room was fine but not great, considering the old carpet. Air conditioning didn't work well. Pillows were terrible - thin sheets of foam.

Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff at check-in and departure.

Room rather stuffy (and you weren't allowed to touch the air conditioning), entrance hard to find.

Their was only breakfast in the property and the variety was not great! But the guy that was helping out with the food was very pleasant and helpful!

The hotel looks new, well equipped and clean with free parking

Breakfast could be better for what we paid and shower doesn't have much pressure

The hotel staff was very kind and good. We checked in at 2 am and while we were about to check out at 9, the hotel voluntarily helped us with coffee and hot snacks. The receptionist was a very kind person.

excellent hotel , big room , though it’s location is far , I love the staff especially Mir OGBAH receptionist very helpful and welcoming , the house keeping called Aisha very nice Morocon girl and honest, we forget one of our bag has some gift for family back home. she ran to find at the parking area and give it back ..

Good location, close to A6 but in a town, quiet street just off main Ave full of small commerce and shops, restaurants, bakeries etc.Good breakfast, more than we can eat unfortunately!

Comforter is very warm; good in winter but too warm in June! I would have much preferred a regular blanket over a sheet and a light bedspread, “traditional style”! So we could take a layer off if needed but still have a layer to cover ourselves with;With the comforter only, the only option was “all or nothing”, be too hot or be cold.
