Versilia Palace Hotel

The room was comfortable and the location was excellent right across the street from the beach. The two pools were nice. The breakfast was good and one of the bartenders was very friendly and nice.

The Maitre D' was extremely unfriendly to us. He was really nice to other guest, but treated us with dismissal. He seemed annoyed at our presence to the point that I felt like he did not want to seat us for breakfast. If we had stayed longer than two nights I would have complained about him to hotel management.

Great location, near the beaches. Breakfast is very good. Friendly staff. Easy parking on property. Quiet area.

It needs some work to upgrade here and there. But everything works fine and is comfortable.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great. Very local and easily accessible. We even rented bikes and rode them to the city. Parking for bikes were much easier although we drove in to the city once and parking was plenty.

Very good location in front of the beach and serveral restaurants around. Nice relaxation zones with bar and coffee next to the swimming pool area.

The breakfast buffet was great, although with my gluten und dairy free requirements I could not eat a lot. They could make me an oat cappuccino though.The staff was very friendly.

The room had a bad smell and did not look as luxurious as on the photos. There was no water jug or tea facilities in the room. The mattress and pillow was so hard, that I could not sleep all night. Also the noise from the road was quite loud and this was out of season.

Excellent stay and truly surpassed our expectations. Super easy to park and also navigate around Forte dei Marmi as well as the staff was so lovely. The room & bathroom were huge and overall fantastic! We were amazed and so excited to see that the room they put us in not only be very spacious, but modern, clean, super accommodating, actually have 2 balconies, and were quite impressed with the electronic window shutters and blinds too. Definitely suggest staying there as you get more than your moneys worth!

Great location right by the sea, nice room and friendly staff that happily accommodated a late check out request. Parking was also very convenient

Not enaugh toilets for the people there. Showers and bathroom in general are not dirty but not really clean either and they are way too small, not convenient at all. I think it's way too expensive for what it has to offer but I guess that's the price to pay to be in the old town

Very handy for the beach and the park for the open air concert. Room nice and large. Good breakfast. Pool looked nice although never used.

Hairdryers in the rooms are very old style and in one of our rooms had a broken tube, which was never fixed and no hairdryer replacement arrived even though it was asked for on numerous occassions over 2 days.

Superb location across the road from the beach. Hotel staff were professional and provided friendly, helpful service. Breakfast was outstanding, so many choices. Unfortunately there was a power outage for the whole town which lasted all night so very hot and uncomfortable. Not the fault of the hotel. However the manager gave a very generous discount plus a complimentary dinner to compensate. Needless to say, we stayed the extra night and loved it. Dinner was also fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Beautiful swimming pool too.

There wasn't anything that needed to improve. Everything was excellent.

The location was very good, and access was easy with good parking. The hotel has good signage and is fairly easy to find along the main boulevard. The staff were all polite and helpful and the beach is right across the street with plenty options for restaurants and other beach clubs. I did like the hotel garden and pool area, which was quiet and pleasant to be in, with plenty seating for customers who may want to relax and enjoy a drink by the poolside.

The breakfast was Italian style with cold meats and cheeses and the only hot food on display was scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, which is quite normal for most Italian hotels. The croissants did not taste fresh but there was plenty selection on the bread counter. When I entered my room, the door was catching on the floor and needed a hard push to open it. This would have been an easy fix, but it was like this for my stay. The room felt like it was in need of some refurbishment and when I tried to turn the bath plug to seal it, the knob to turn it came away in my hand with hardly any force.

Nice ambience for celebrating my wife’s birthday the hotel supplied a nice bouquet of flowers and a birthday cake at a reasonable price.

Prices for food drinks etc are high.

The closeness to the beach and the restaurants.

A bit of mold on the ceiling of the room creating a smell in it. The key chain was very heavy to keep in your pocket.

Great breakfast. Good but small public rooms.

Noisy road. Long walk to the town centre. Very expensive taxis! Would not visit Forte again due to the exorbitant cost of the taxi transfer from the airport! Not recommended for non drivers!

+ nice and well equipped rooms+ Rooms where not too old, so everything is in very good shape+ we had a room with balcony towards the park which was nice and quiet+ great breakfast with very large selection of food and very good cappucino+ free parking spots and garage available

in the evening there was live music in the dinner area, which might have been nice for some ppl who didn't want to talk but also with a baby this was too loud.

Plenty of space and variety in the common areas on the ground floor

For the price the room was very small and for a what is advertised as a 4 star hotel, the amenities in the room were very average

Extremely noisy, almost feel cleaning team was doing noise on purpose and tiny doors/walls did not help. Felt overpriced for the experience. Not transparent pricing policy on renting bicycles (ie. did not confirm with me the amount and period before booking them). Will not come back
