Location; overall very nice room; nice common areas

The staff was very helpful and kind, and the location cannot be beat. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and plan to return to the Halbert.

If I had one small point of critique it would be that the room was somewhat cold.

The breakfast could be better

Breakfast was excellent!Location was the best, in the center of the city but on relatively quite street.

Would be nice of at least one window would have a screen to protect from mosquitos. We learned this in a hard way.

Great location, very clean, and the staff was great. We got a free upgrade to a suite, so we had a very spacious room. We only planned to stay two nights, but wish we had more time here.

At one point we heard people walking upstairs, but it was very brief and not a problem at all.

The mattress was not the best, it was not flat and felt very used, we were laying in a “ditch”. Breakfast not included and can not book through booking. You can only book the breakfast at the hotel and it was expensive, €19,50 per person.

The location !! and the interior downstairs was very bright and inviting.Nice to have A/C because when the windows are open it gets pretty noisy at night.

The room was pretty dark with only a couple of small lights - the entry for sure needs a ceiling light. Price of breakfast - too high

Nice location with super friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Totally recommend staying at this place during your visit to Groningen.

Excellent location, in the historical centre, a good place to arrive after sightseeing or a day out. Airy and convenient rooms, kind and helpful staff. Perfect location for the family, we could let the children walk around the city on their own.

Locations was great for accessing the University of Groningen Building. Great breakfast, ambiance and service.

Location. It is perfect if you are going to do anything at the university. It is also close to everything but outside of the noise. Staff was very friendly. The patio was a great place for a drink. Modern with the essentials. Safe in the room, and a small fridge (very small).

There is no electric outlets in the bathroom and the only place to dry your hair is in the entrance area where there is a mirror, and the outlet is so low, by the floor, that the cable for the dryer is not long enough and I had to dry my hair sitting on a chair. The shelf in the fridge prevents a small bottle to be standing up (and cannot be moved).

Clean, spacious room with beautiful and modern shower. The breakfast was outstanding, and the location can’t be beat for walking around town. 100% we would stay again.
