Excellent location, breakfast was top-notch, room had everything we needed. We had some trouble with our after-hours checkin, but thankfully they had preemptively sent someone around to make sure it worked out even with a lockbox, so it was all okay with the least amount of fuss that could have been in the situation.

After hours check-in communication was somehow lost (other than the approval), so we didn’t have all the needed instructions. Maybe a requirement to respond that we had received it, so they would know it was all through?

We had a room with a balcony and enjoyed the view each morning. The room was small, but very clean. The plane and travel inspired decor was unique and fun. And the espresso machine in the room was fantastic!

The location was very convenient, but as the hotel advertised, it got loud in the evenings. They did provide ear plugs. So thoughtful!

The ambience is exceptional, I loved it! Staff are super friendly which made my stay wonderful. Excellent location!! Ignore complaints about noise written in other reviews: there is noise but it is centrally located. With windows closed all is fine. I had my windows wide open and as I go to bed after midnight the street noise was not a problem. If you want to go to bed at 10pm with windows open, then yes, you do need ear pluggs but, if you want peace just choose a hotel that is not so central.

The elevator is a bit slow to shut and start but I guess this is part of the charm of this hotel. The shower drainage system was rather slow so water accumulated while showering.

Great staff. While we had some difficulty initially finding the exact location of the hotel, once we did , we were pleased with the assistance of the staff. As we arrived late, they waited for us to arrive, and were very helpful during our stay.We were able to walk to the city sites and restaurants easily.

We had some difficulty initially finding the hotel as it is in the middle of University with restrictions as to where you can drive your car. Parking was some distance from the hotel. Not bad, but as we arrived around 10:00 pm we had to find our way to:from parking garage.

Inquired about breakfast and the staff was pushy about scheduling a time.

Stayed during Kings holiday and the hotel setup a pub at the entrance. The access was via an alley and a line to enter the hotel was formed. Had to push my way through a crowd to get in to the hotel where I had a room. I had to depart the hotel two days early from my scheduled week to assist family. The hotel refused to credit my charges back to my credit card claiming booking.com would not allow them to give credits.

The property has a laid back vibe, but offers the comfort of a hotel. Great value for money considering average prices in the city centres of the Dutch cities. The room was spotless, there was a coffee machine, earplugs and some sound proofing solutions.

Room and balcony

The second day there was a very unfriendly man behind the reception at breakfast and the breakfast made us sick, don't eat the scrambled eggs!

Excellent location, right in the center. The decorations are fun and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Room was big, with a living space and a bedroom. Staff was helpful and friendly.
