Horrendously noisy air conditioning, no extra blankets, stuck in a dog box of a room looking out onto a loading dock and freeway, poor heating and no explanation as to how to control properly and a tiny shower a child would struggle to shower in. Over priced for what it was.

I was celebrating my 10th anniversary with my husband and they made my stay very special with some surprises for us. All the communication before my arrival was excellent. Special thanks to Maran and Valentino - both arranged everything and made my stay unique.

breakfast - options for everybody from fruit, yoghurt and granola to traditional English breakfast with sausages, bacon and eggs to typical Dutch sandwich with cheese or peanutbutter

a bit expensive for what you get in terms of service (no Dutch speaking staff in the morning?) room and bedsize, location, overall look&feel (an oldfashioned kettle and coffee powder, really?)

Hotel is situated just fight in a nice park area of a city - but close to main road-ring with connection to Germany / Amsterdam. Room was clean, beds comfy and everything worked.

Payment 11 EUR for parking was not realy expected - and should be included.

There weren’t enough staff. For example, when we asked for an ironing machine, they told us to come and collect it ourselves because they didn’t have enough staff available.

Decent rooms but poor breakfast. Overpriced and poor quality.

The overpriced breakfast had been staying "out" for the day before, meaning that the meat and the cheese being dry and "hard". It was obvious that the cheese was not fresh at all.All in all, we did not eat any of the breakfast as it was not appealing at all. Really dissapointing as this is not what i normally see from your organisation setup.

Everything about my stay was up to expectations. I stayed once before, a few years ago, and had no complaints. Following this most recent stay, my opinions remain unchanged. The staff were lovely, the facilities were excellent, and accessibility to public transport into the city centre was amazing.

The only 'complaint' I have is with the air conditioning. My room was exposed to the sun for most of the day, so it tended to warm up. Even with the air conditioning set to its highest setting, it did not seem to cool the room much. This meant opening the windows during the evening and night; this is typically not a problem, but with a room facing the main motorway, there was a lot of traffic noise in the evenings and very early mornings. This did not cause too much trouble as we stayed in March, but I wonder how it would differ in the summer when the temperatures are higher. Despite this, I would be delighted to stay here again.

I had to book this room very last minute due to issues with another hotel. The staff were great and very friendly. The room was incredible for the price, I wish I had more time to appreciate it.

Room was clean

Staff not really around or very helpful - except the chap working in the bar - paid for parking and someone moved our motorcycle out of the parking area to a no parking zone around the corner and the next morning another vehicle had their window smashed - not a safe area to park on site

Only a minor thing: the shower cabin was too small and its door didn't close well.

The staff wasn’t very polite and helpful. There weren’t rude, but not friendly either.The room was cold and we couldn’t change temperature.

A really excellent stay at a quality hotel. The staff were kind and professional, the room was spacious and comfortable, and we had a great time!

A bit disappointed...

Intermitent wi-fi. No cleaning and towel change unless we informed them, but we weren't told that during check-in.

The location is far from the city center. It rather too expensive, and the floor carpets need changing in the whole hotel.

the satff were so friendly.

We have been staying in Mercure for many many years. The feeling the rooms (that were cleaned spotless) become smaller, had to move chairs around; one big blanket uncomfortable less and less facilities. Breakfast was absolutely great and staff was very helpful and professional

Room temperature was not stable, freezing cold. Bed was uncomfortable, toilet didn’t flush properly and hotel decor was dated.

The staff were exceptional- especially the two ladies who were working in the reception area on Saturday night; they were so friendly and helpful. The bed was very big and very comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The location is great- easily accessible and a very pleasant 20-25 minute walk to the centre. Everything was fantastic.
