Hotel Scacciapensieri

Location was perfect. Nice having balconies overlooking the sea and beach. The breakfast was more substanital than most.

The only good thing About this hotel was the location and the friendly staff and decent for for breakfast..

The room was decently sized but the ac didn't do anything to help the hot weather! .. Plus the bathroom was so tiny u had to cling to the toilet or sink to open the door.. Also the beds were so unforgettable like 100 year old mattress were put under cheap old sheets and only one pillow for each person!.. also the room had 0 to no decorations at all instead there was scratches and marks all over the walls..

If you want to "de-romanticize" Italy, this is the place.

A dark, depressing building from the Italian communist era of the 70s or 80s, with an absolutely unpleasant staff attitude. Beach access costs an additional 25 EUR, which is mentioned somewhere deep in the information, but we missed it. The walk to the beach is short but takes you through urine-smelling pavement. There’s a minibar, but it’s empty. The so-called "smoking rooms" have non-smoking warning signs everywhere. We didn’t stay for breakfast; we left after just two hours. Even then, the receptionist didn’t ask why we were leaving early but made sure to remind us of the 3 EUR city tax, which we, of course, paid with a smile :)

Hotel room was spacious and right on the beach breakfast was good with a good selection

Position was good, near the beach and a nice grill restaurant for dinner

The age of the property it is tired and dingy.

Location fine, I found the hotel accomodation basic.

The hotel interior was very dated and is long past needing an upgrade, basic is probably best description.The shower didn’t have a fixture for the shower head so was left dangling on its hose, very disappointing.

The room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to the beach. The staff is very friendly.

The hotel is pretty old. The door had some problems. The windows are not isolated, the noise from the street can be anoing.

the restaurant staffs were amazingly excellent.the food was great.the receptionist was wonderful and really helpful. she’s so welcoming.

the cleaning staffs should be well supervised. it would have been cool if only they can clean better.

Good location to the beach and town. Clean.

Did not know how to get in when we arrive late night. Very very basic facilities.Breakfast very early.
