The location was great and we had parking. The break fast was decent and room was good enough for a 1-2 day stay.Don't expect any staff. no one was there to welcome us at 15:00. no one to check out at 10:00.

The staff are very rude.Also, I left my jacket there. we checked out at 10:00 and I called them at 14:00 before the next check in and no one could find the jacket. Also no response for the next 2 days that i was calling international. It took them 4 days until i got a reply from the email on booking. After I paid for the return of the jacket, still no response after 1 week that they received the money or even sent the jacket back. DO NOT EXPECT ANY SERVICE FROM THIS HOTEL

This is a nice basic hotel. Friendly staff allowed me to park my bicycle in the basement.

Price/quality was good. Location was very good..basically in the towns center. Breakfast was basic, but ceretainly good enough. The rooms were very clean. The bed (1-person bedroom) was nice and big. Parking available right in front of the hotel at E10 per night, do need to reserve in advance!

Frontdesk staff only available at certain hours. Self-checkout. Rooms and hotel had very little decorations. No minifridge. Groundfloor rooms were quite noisy.

Super small roomsHad NO hot water for showers for 1st night. My husband had to go with the staff to the basement to fix the water heater to get hot water to shower

Very nice location with excellent value for money.

The space in my room and bathroom was a bit tight.

Lovely clean hotel room with a wonderful view. Parking was very handy too as some roads are particularly steep. Very good value for money considering the location and we would definitely stay again in the future!

Relatively small breakfast selection however I feel the price does reflect this. Some breakfast is still better than no breakfast though.

Easy to access the center and start hiking* The beds are comfortable* There is parking right in front of the hotel* Staff are friendly* You can get coffee and/or tea from the breakfast room whenever based on an honour system (1 EUR tea) * There is a mini fridge in the room

* The pillows are flat; slept on the mattress most of the nights and woke up with a stiff neck* Getting to the hotel and the parking spots are for advanced drivers - very steep hill and narrow streets - be prepared; luckily I drive a small car. If you are not comfortable with this, then I would advise you to park at the parkings slightly at the edge of the town, which were cheaper anyways. It's 10 EUR per day at the hotel.* I miss a water cooker in the room* Bathroom is quite small, so not much room to put your stuff; we put most of it outside of the bathroom* We had the room on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator; we are fit, so it wasn't a problem. However, I can imagine that this might be a challenge for others

At the date I selected, this hotel seems an economic choice. The room is clean and comfortable.

We were assigned to a room at the "basement" (it's the basement of the building but still higher than the street). So it is kind of dark and the view is not very good.

Very close to the centre and all restaurants/shops and museums.

It was quite dirty in some places, I found a hair in the bed and in the shower. The bucket for the shower drain was filled with old hairs (which I ended up removing and almost got sick) , the walls were very dirty too, all over with marks). The pillows were also way too thin. No hot breakfast provided either (very simple breakfast), but we ate it and still enjoyed it.

The room wasn't cleaned so well. We found hair every where in the room and bathroom. The room had minimum facilities.

If you are traveling by car, an extra parking fee is requested. It can be a bit cold in the winter months, don't forget to turn up the heat on the heater. The lady at the reception doesn't speak English, but she easily helped by calling someone who did. The location is great. A clean hotel

Hotel was close to center and clean

Under the hotel windows was a party with a loudspeaker on maximum, till 3AM, no sound isolation, no one at the reception, no one answered the phone calls and no one answered my messages not that day and not on the next one and even now I have not heard from them. I was there with my daughter and husband and we were pushed to walk with the stroller IN THE NIGHT around the city, because it was not possible to sleep for my kid otherwise.. I had a feeling that I try to put a toddler to the bed in the middle of the club. I don’t mind that people are celebrating or parties/ music, but everything has limits, it was much too much, I was exhausted, tired and it was the worst hotel experience I ever had with staying at besttime hotel Monschau. I kindly asked for the refund at least for the first night but have not heard back.

Nice staff

The town is quite small and has narrow street so it will be best to stay outskirt of town and walk in.

Room was rather small with little room to move around the double bed.

Location was excellent. Staff were courteous. Convenient parking right in the heart of the city.

The flush unit was not sturdy. A few times, the unit came into my hand on pressing the flush button. A bit noisy when people enter and walk in the neighboring rooms. Given that it’s an old building, this is somewhat acceptable.
