    • Great view from our room, which was delux double on the top floor. You can’t get a better location. We were travelling by bicycle and were able to securely store our bikes. Breakfast was very good, including scrambled eggs and sausage.
    • I personally love old hotels and restaurants that have some character dating back to bygone days. This one was well located and delightful. We had a nice breakfast and a desert the night before, but walked about the town to find another restaurant. Lovely small town with good parking a couple hundred meters away just past the church.
    • charming place - old yet very functional and with local style - good atmosphere - very comfortable and renovated rooms - stunning views from the 2 bedroom I had. Breakfast with a good choice - The personnel is always ready to help -

    Cons -

    • There was a wedding going on the day we checked out, so staff were busy preparing for that, meaning they were distracted at checkin and checkout.
    • I didn’t mind, but some might not like the stairs. We were staying in the top floor apartments and so had to climb several flights of stairs.
    • No A/c

The lady at breakfast, blonde hair with glasses in charge at breakfast was the friendliest and most professional I have ever seen.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Amazing breakfast, warm staff, incredible location!

Breakfast was fantastic and all of the staff were friendly and very accommodating to my family.

The hotel is fantastic. Important for visitors to research the parking before visiting Monschau.

The hotel was in a great location. The reception was friendly. The building was old and had a lot of charm. The beds were pretty comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and had everything you may want. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant.

I think the room needs a little update as things needed to be replaced or repaired. The carpet really should be changed out. Wood floors would be pretty in the hotel. It would be nice to have a coffe maker, or water kettle.

This quaint little hotel was such a gem! Nestled right along the river in a charming small town, it had a warm and welcoming feel. Restaurants were just a short stroll away, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious—perfect for starting the day.

The breakfast was fantastic and the location amazing. This is in the middle of a super cute town that we had a great time exploring. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Our room faced the inner courtyard, and it was quite noisy and bright until pretty late at night. The kitchen goes fairly late, and you could hear all the noise coming off that and from delivery vans or scooters in the inner courtyard.

The location is exceptional. Right in the heart of Monschau. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Perhaps if the room had a coffee maker, or a small refrigerator.... But it was not difficult to get by without either.

Wonderful location. Right in the incredibly picturesque center of town.Good breakfast, very nice coffee.

The pillows were terrible. There were plenty but just the flattest most useless pillows I have ever encountered in a hotel. The front desk welcome/exit left much to be desired. They didn’t seem to have anyone manning the area that day and we had to grab staff from the restaurant (who were capable but not particularly friendly) to check us in and out.

We had breakfast there and it was just ok. We thought we would be able to order breakfast off a menu but it was a buffet. The good thing was that you had Cappachino!

Shower very dangerous with no mat for stability. Would have loved to take a shower and actually planned on it but at the age of 78 I’m cautious about a tub shower with no stability on the the floor!

    Great location, spacey room,

Pillows are not really pillows. They should be replaced.

Incredible location with our balcony overlooking the river. WOW Factor when we walked into our room. Comfy room, fairly well appointed. Lovely medieval town - we really enjoyed our stay.

It would be great if there was a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

Wonderful hotel. I loved how kind people are at the reception (looks like familiy run business). How they tried to make the room ready before 15h (I arrived super early). I loved the restaurant with the candles, and the charm of the stairs. And the room was super big. I really loved !

My husband and chirldren enjoyed the time during the stay. The room is clean and the breakfast is so good. The most charming thing is the service. People are very friendly. We highly recommend to friends and people who consider to visit Monschau.

It's a very charming hotel, very well maintained and clean. It's not far from the parking lot and it's very close from the plaza. Loved it. Don't bring big luggage because there's no elevator (I didn't, but I just wanted to point it out in case you came with a big luggage)

Hard to find the info for the WiFi password.

Great location in the centre of Monshau

Hotel staff was very friendly but seemed busy

    9IvanivnaPosted on: 1-19-2025

Location is perfect. Our room was very cosy with comfortable beds and great view.

The only things that ruined our stay a bit was that the disco at the bar which is downstairs at the hotel was too noisy and we could hear everything in our room.
