Great owners, good location, amazing value for what you get but please READ, what they offer. This is not a luxury hotel where people wear penguin suits and open the door. This is just a simple hello here is your room there is a fridge to grab a beer from ( and pay ) have fun. Rooms are fine and have all you need.We will most certainly be back because for this price you cant get anything better.

Internet was very bad and for the tv we had to press several times to change the channel. Batteries?

The staff was really nice! The room and bathroom were tidy and had everything a smaller hotel room should have! It's an older cottage so you can expect some creaking noises, but it's really worth the price! Walking to Monschau can be challenging for lesser fit people though! Even though we didn't mind it, the location was cool!

It is what you can expect, but people walking in the room above was really loud.

Nice bed and clean room. Ear plugs were provided considerately and a Ferrero rocher as well.

The noice from my upstairs neighbors was annoying. The internet was broken. There was body soap but no shampoo.

Great value with amazing location and very comfortable beds. It is walking distance to the city center (if you don't mind going uphill on the way back) and close to MUST VISIT mustard mill and its restaurant!

Located just outside the heart of Monschau. So it’s quiet, even though Monschau is only 10 minutes by foot downhill. Nice garden where you can sit and relax. We slept really well, the bed is very good. The owners are very friendly. Would love to come back

Amazing location almost in the middle of nature but still at a walkable location to Monschau.Nice to have: access to a fridge and microwave (shared) and some cutlery to eat something.A nice parking spot also and a very nice price!

The room was not super clean but enough.The bed was not very comfortable.Considering the price, it was fine for a weekend.

That they say you have different things on the room which are not true, and their restaurant was closed too. There is a lot of noise because it is just a house with thin walls. Cute garden but not really installations that you can enjoy. The wifi was not working and the owner wasn’t very welcoming.

Really good price for a spacious room with a view. Accessible parking and easy to walk to Monschau. Great tips from the owner about the surroundings and where to go for dinner. Highly recommend staying here!

Jeje and Anna’s place is a wonderful stay! It was easy to find with clear directions, and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our night there—highly recommended for anyone visiting Monschau and the nearby small towns!

The location was great, a country feeling, the rooms were good, and Jeje and Anna were very helpful and friendly.

There was no downside to this place.

The location was great, just a 10-15 minute walk into Monschau [which is just like a model town]. Parking was a bonus, too!

I'm not sure how well the rooms are sound insulated but you could hear other guests. This isn't the properties fault - it's purely down to have considerate other guests are [and they weren't. They came back late and were shouting to each other in the shared spaces and in their rooms].

Overall very good but note that property is a STIFF WALK uphill from the town. Quite a challenge after a few evening beers. To be fair the owners clearly state this but it is a good 20-30 mins workout!

Coffee, use of fridge, plates, spoons etc. available free of charge. Several sorts of cold beer for reasonable price. Informal atmosphere. Quit and nice place to stay.

Room needed repairs and paint but was functional for a 2 nights stay. In general the building could use some renovation.

Very amusing host, with lots of local knowledge. The kettle in the room was a big plus.

The road winding down the beautiful village of Monschau

Budget basic says the owner so you should not complain about anything. I was on the top floor and the room had been done without any feeling for taste , poor feeling atmosphere in the whole place , loud signs and no warmth. And finally : no wifi reception on the top floor. What will the owner who doesn’t like criticism say about this ?

Excellent location, very clean, more than exellent shower, nice quiet area, very peaceful.

People outside smoking with the smoke drifting into our room. Wifi connection mostly absent.

The room we stayed in, was way better than we expected from the photos. Room was big enough with cosy atmosphere, electric kettle and TV. There was also separate toilet and bathroom. We had beautiful picturesque view on the garden and mountains. Everything very neat and clean at reasonable cost. Very nice and positive host Available free parking space for 5-6 cars.I definitely recommend staying here and I would come back.
