Abasto Hotel & Spa Maisach

Location was fine - it was close to Maisach - I stayed 30 days. Staff was friendly and also spoke English. It also had a Lidl grocery store across the street. ABASTO offered a restaurant, conference rooms and spa services which I did not use because I spent my days with relatives. I definitely would opt to return for a future stay due to the convenience it offered for me.

IMHO, the bed was very firm. The pillow (not the pillow case) had a strong “man” smell. Sounds strange, but there was a definite odor emanating from the pillow. I ended up borrowing a pillow from my relatives.

I like the dinner in the restaurant and also cleanness of room.

breakfast is a bit expensive

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great and quiet. It has a restaurant that we ate at upon our arrival, and Lidl right next door if you need to do any shopping.

There is nothing that we didn't like about the property or the staff. It was great little stop over!

The rooms we were in and one family member were roomy and comfortable. Breakfasts had plenty of choices and very good coffee, Convenient to S-Bahn, Restaurant was convenient.

The third room was in third room was in the basement and had no internet. We'd wanted all rooms to be close to each other as we were traveling with grandchildren.

Great water pressure! The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was fine.

They could purchase some queen size mattresses instead of having the old style German bed which is 2 twin size beds put together.

A perfect place to crash for one night in the middle of a long road trip passing through Germany. The breakfast was nice, too. The room was cozy and the bed was good.

The room had an AC/heater unit that couldn't be switched off that made a little noise almost all of the time. Nothing that prevented me from sleeping through the night, but I wish it could be turned off altogether.

I was greeted with a friendly reception, check in was less than 5 minutes.The spa facilities are good and clean, the Saunameister certainly knows her stuff.Beds were comfortable.Big plus, good Italian restaurant directly linked to the hotel,which also served a good diverse breakfast.

Check in easy and very welcoming on arrival. Room very comfortable and big, so plenty of room for our dog. Restaurant excellent and v. Reasonable, service good too.Reception extremely helpful when I needed to borrow a lead to charge my phone.Have stayed here a few times and will carry on doing so. Convenient stopover on way back to Eurotunnel.

I like the fact that they have a restaurant on the property and also a grocery store next door. I like how they have a lot of parking and it’s very quiet. I like the access to the elevator and how friendly the staff were especially the one at the restaurant, super nice and friendly.

To start my bed was full of hair from the previous person. I was told breakfast is included when I was making the reservation on booking.com and when I get there I was told you must pay 15 euro per breakfast. The hotel is in the middle of no where. My first room had a twin bed and that was it.

Large breakfast nook. Quiet.

Could have had more ventilation fans.

It was close to the venue of the conference we attended.

Upon arrival, the receptionist who was seated on the lap of a man frowned at my arrival, possibly because I disrupted their mushy moments while she was at work.

I was given a room in the basement , floors dirty , the room was not dusted properly , cobwebs , trash from the previous user -

Friendly welcome at reception. Good modern rooms. Good size, and clean. Large bathroom. Lots of parking. Good food available next door.

15 minute walk to the train station. Breakfast costs extra.

The restaurant was very good with ample offering of good tasty food, including the breakfast buffet. The spa was nice with 2 saunas and a wonderful steam bath. They also massage which was a nice way to revitalize after many days on the road. The staff were all friendly and professional.

The shower water was only lukewarm. I do not find this acceptable as I felt cold each time I took a shower.

The staff were flexible and friendly. Everything was clean and the room was bigger than expected.

The location.. We got there with a car and I found that it’s not in a convenient location.

Exceptionally helpful staff at the reception desk; restaurant service excellent in every way; rooms comfortable. clean and accessible.

Not a complaint, but it might have been nice to have a communal place to sit down in the afternoon;

Everything was closed. There was no adequate service

We arrived at the reception. There was a young man who didn't know how to register and barely understood us. The room was changed three times due to faults that were not dealt with. For example an air conditioner. A safe in all the rooms that do not work and cannot be closed
