    • I had a generally pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly. The hotel responds very quickly to reservations made via Booking. It’s a great place to rest for those driving long distances, and the parking gates closing for extra security is a big plus. Some bedrooms have shared bathrooms, which actually seems better than having showers and humidity inside the room during winter.I would like to share one small observation in a friendly and constructive way.The hotel mentions that not providing standard towels is an eco-friendly measure, but guests can buy a microfiber towel instead (currently €3). From an environmental point of view, microfiber towels (often manufactured in China) are made from plastic and release microplastics when washed, while a regular cotton towel reused and washed over time is usually a more sustainable option.I completely understand cost-saving or operational reasons, but presenting this as an ecological measure doesn’t seem entirely accurate.Overall, the place is great, and I hope this feedback is received in the friendly and respectful spirit in which it is written. This is not meant as destructive criticism, but as a constructive point to consider for the future.Thank you for having me — I look forward to booking this hotel again. Un grand merci au personnel de l’hôtel F1 !!!

    Cons -

    • The cleanlyness of the house was really bad.
    • Nothing toilets in the room and this wasn’t noted. It’s stated there is a shared bathroom on the second floor however, never said no bathroom in the room!!
    • At the check-in the door was locked and no receptionist let us in, the check in machine was out of order. So after a bit of the struggle, one of the guests let us in to speak with the receptionist who arrived and just sat behind the desk. She was very rude for whatever reason although she was fluent in English as we can't speak French.

Nothing. unfortunately, there was nothing we liked about the property.

We didn’t like the rooms because it was in very bad condition. There was water all over the place, and the smell was extremely strong and unpleasant it was impossible to stay there. The room was not clean at all, and we even had to take the dustbin out ourselves. It didn’t feel safe or comfortable to stay. When we went to the reception to check out, there was no one there to talk to or help us. Because of the smell, the water everywhere, and the lack of cleanliness and service, we had no choice but to leave immediately after arriving.

It was very clean, close to motorway.

Said English speaking and wasn't, luckily very nice guy was there to save the day. It's a drivers stop over, parking poor. Rooms with private bathroom sold out long ahead.

Nothing much really. Cheap but pretty nasty.

Room was like a telephone box. I wouldn't stay there again if it was free.

    7DavidPosted on: 8-10-2025

Convenient for our journey. Room had shower and toilet.

Noise from inside and outside hotel until 6 in the morning.

I didn't really like much about this hotel

It was on an industrial estate The room for 3 was tiny The air con didn't work

    2GeorgePosted on: 8-4-2025

    Cheap and convenient.

Very noisy. Thin walls and doors. Woken up several times by shouting and banging doors.

    4Raul.vicenPosted on: 7-3-2025

Low price. Near highway. Standard room.

Room extremely warm when i arrived. Very noise room (outside). Not possible to sleep wit window open to cool it down. Had to sleep with air condition, what is not good for my throat.

It was really nice to arrive and be greeted by our very kind host who gave us a very helpful tour of the place and explained everything we needed. Of course the F1 is a budget location but we were just stopping off for the night so what was important was that we could sleep comfortably and save money. Considering the price we got very good value. So I would recommend the F1 in Bordeaux very much.

Everything was fine. You have to accept that you don't have all the facilities you would have in a more expensive place but if you're okay with that then there's nothing to worry about

    Nothing special.

Someone forgot to vacuum the floor, was completely dirty. The smell was horrible, probably someone smoked there. The toilet was ok, but the shower was terrible. The lady open the door at 9am without permission. They dont know who is at the room? They dont check if the people already did the check out or something? Also talk really loudly after 09am....

I liked the kindness of the reception employees, and the cleanliness, the decoration and that everything (on the inside) looked like new

As usual, the pillows are very uncomfortable, the matress is just ok, and in my case I was travelling with my wife and they gave me two separete beds, but probably because I arrived a little late. Also it was a few euros more expensive than other F1, with the same amenities.

Secure parking. Staff was friendly. Okay for a very short stay.

No towels provided for the shower, had to pay for them. Didn't realised no bathroom in the room. Key code for the room which was difficult in the night. Wouldn't recommend more than a quick stop over.

The room was clean and the location was good (7 Minutes to the next Tram). Great value per money. Easy check in and check out.

Beds weren't that stable and the toilets were sometimes wet (from flushing?)

    1MaryPosted on: 9-9-2024

    Bad

They need to clean the rooms, not only the first one smelled of cigarettes (the very nice guy changed it for us) but those rooms were not clean, I also woke up with bites on my legs and they were not from mosquitoes. The only good thing about the stay was the staff who were super friendly.
