Lorraine Hôtel Nancy Ouest - Laxou

Off the motorway, but very quiet - no room faces the traffic. Convenient parking. Good sleep. Welcome drink was a nice gesture. Restaurants are nearby if variety is needed, and so is the shopping center. Breakfast served organic local produce.

The decor was somehow distracting - specifically the polished concrete on the ceiling.

Everything was very good

Great hotel if you travel by car, in our case from northern Europe to Switzerland, in Nancy. Near highway, so you do not loose much time. Situated well, so it is very quiet and we did not hear noise from traffic or highway. Good, clean room. Very good, large bed. You can open a window. Nice shower. We liked the 'industrial design' style. Good breakfast (especially for French standards). Good service and staff. They even offered us a free welcome drink after arrival in the evening. Plenty of free parking spaces in front of and next to the hotel. The hotel is situated in a 'zone commercial', so if you like to stock up in supermarkets, a huge Auchan is right around the corner. Good value for money.

Not so much really. Do not expect a 6 star hotel. It is however a very good place to stop if you need a bed and roof above your head on your way through France/Europe, or maybe if you would like to visit or have business in Nancy.

Modern hotel in very good condition with spacious, well designed rooms. All bedrooms faced away from the road so were very quiet. Air con in room effective and quiet. Beds and pillows were very good. Staff friendly and helpful with a good breakfast. Good location.

Do not have normal shutting doors to the toilet, but that's a minor thing.

Hotel typically used as intermediate stop for travelers. Rooms are spacious and newly decorated, and overall the hotel has a very positive and friendly atmosphere. Staff is very friendly as well. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

In-room coffee and tea facilities would have been nice :)

lovely stay, staff were helpful and arranged for us to get breakfast a lot earlier than when it should start, we were welcomed with a complementary drink which we had on the sunny terrace. good location as just off motorway for a quick overnight stop on route to home. Very quirky interior which we liked. would definitely stay again . There was bottled water in room as well.

Room was clean, with bottles of water provided, that was quite helpful. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good location, great value and an updated hotel. Will stay there again.

I chose this hotel, because I was travelling. So I stayed for only one night. Staff were very friendly and the room was spacious. The hotel has a restaurant nearby with a great menu. Breakfast was nice. Internet was free and available everywhere.

It would have been nice to have a kettle and some coffee in the room. Otherwise, everything was great.

Nothing stands out

Stayed here before, for a one night stop over on our way to Germany. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant adjacent to the hotel also excellent.

The hotel is perfect as a stop on a road trip. The staff was really friendly (even gave us a voucher for 2 drinks from the bar!). The room was organized in a very efficient manner (i.e. adequate shelves for storage, adequate space around the beds, nice size shower). The breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone. Great service. We were especially grateful that there were a couple of restaurants located in the same area since we were staying on a Sunday night and we normally struggle to find accommodations with nearby food service. Parking was easy.

Lighting in the bathroom is indirect lighting so using the mirror for the application of makeup is a challenge.

Good sized room and large bed - all very clean. Restaurant had some good options on the menu. Have stayed here before and would certainly stay again.

Great location with easy free parking. The hotel is contemporary. My room was spacious and clean. It was a lovely stay.

The breakfast offering needs to be improved. The scrambled eggs were green when you put the spoon into the centre of the server.
