Novotel Nancy

Had an overnight stay on our trip heading south; staff was welcoming , room was clean, bed was comfortable (soft); it has large secured parking lot.

Only one small bottle provided to get self-service distilled/sparkling water on the ground floor , for 2 guests in a room, is not enough…

Lovely room and bed

Bit of a drain smell in bathroom

Friendly staff. Good location near highway for overnight stay on our way back home from France.

The bedsheets feel and sound like plastic sandwich bags.

Cleanliness, locality.

I was not given the code to lift the barrier on exit when I checked out.

You don’t have more options in breakfast, specially eggs and meat and cherry tomatoes was very old , thank you

Hotel 4 star you should keep bottle of water at room , don’t let people in midnight got to reception bring water , thank you

Rooms are spacious, pool and outdoor area is nice.

Breakfast has a very limited option, as my wife is pregnant and could not eat most of the things in breakfast. The staff didn't even try to accommodate any of our basic requests like full boiled eggs or uncut fruits, etc. Staff just responded that they can not do anything.Staff at reception was also not at all helpful or competent. It took them more than 40 mins to activate electric car charger after multiple requests, every time they used to forget one or another step in the process. So though the hotel is nice, staff can ve bit polite and accommodating of genuinen guest requests.

Hotel modern, very clean and had an outdoor pool. Secure parking too.

Staff on reception were lacking reception skills. Didn't make us feel welcome and weren't helpful. No eye contact. Did the bare minimum. Opposite experience to the staff running the bar / restaurant who were friendly, if not overstretched. Reception staff didn't bother to help them even though non one was checking in

Clean, friendly staff, good location.

The postcode provided took us to a secluded forest along a dirt track. It was dark and my children were scared. Once we got back on route and added the address rather than the postcode we found the hotel fine, and it was a completely different way to where the postcode had taken us.

location good, restaurant dinner and breakfast really good, rooms comfortable and clean overall really pleased and would stay again.

Not a 'didn't like' just a comment - We couldn't seem to cool the room down other than thermostat to zero - no cold air. Not a complaint, maybe I didn't use it properly and I am sure the staff would have helped if I had asked them. If you struggle - ask someone.

Exceptional

The dinner food was crap, served cold initially than reheated but very hot. This felt like a supermarket cheap food put in the microwaves.

Location is ok free parking

This hotel should change the whole reception team. Horrible. Hoerible services. They dont care about any complains. Funny management.

We needed an overnight stop for our trip to the Alps. Perfect location! Thebreakdaay was great, an option for an early breakfast at 6:30am on a Saturday!!!!!

Good location, clean and friendly staff

Nothing in particular All was ok

Clean and spacious rooms. Convenient location close to the main roads.

Breakfast was of very low quality. Staff seems tired.

Comfortable and nice décoration in the room, good size bed for our son

For a 4 star hotel you expect some better coffee and water offer in the room and some amenities in the bathroom.

Good

The refreshment water bottle offered (in the room) was empty, and glasses were used! So the cleaning from the previous guest was not correctly done!

Very basic not hoover d as there was dirt on the floor and shower also looking untidy! Breakfast was extremely poor so was the dinner.

Breakfast and dinner

Good location for Motorway back to Calais. Need to get bus or drive into Nancy. Great break fast

Very good

Remote, far from city centre and where I needed to be. Taxi 1/2 late first moirning.

Passable

They turned off the water without informing us at 10am in the morning. Reception staff were not very helpful, in fact they were quite useless and did not fully understand why it was not a good idea to turn off the water for maintenance works at 10am in the morning!
