Pros +
- It is a family-run establishment, offering great service. The breakfast was very good, and there's plenty of parking space available. It was atmost 1 hour drive from all the great hiking locations.
- The hotel was close to my work. The Mexican maid was so sweet and did a wonderful job of making up for the rude and dissmissive German staff. The Italian staff were also very nice and helpful.
- Beautiful location, owners are welcoming. We got lost and checked in after hours; the owner made us feel comfortable and even provided us with welcoming drinks.
Cons -
- The German Staff were not helpful at all and sometimes downright rude. Nobody explained the unusual procedures for turning on electricity or opening curtains upon arrival. The food was so terrible I had to spit out the meat gristle and almost gagged the second time. . . then I just quit eating it so I didn't make a gross scene and ruin the other guests' dining experience. There is a large wasp nest right outside my window on room 215 so I could not open the window and that is why there are wasps around the pool.
- There is nothing not to like.
- The village is little, you have to use the car if you need anything.

Stunning view Very welcoming and accomodating staff Cozy roomNice and reach breakfast Nice restaurant
Great breakfast, fantastic host at reception, parking was a breeze, view of mountains was gorgeous, close to national parks (using car) and hiking, wonderful down duvets on the bed. Large bathroom. Will definitely return.
Really nice hotel with a great breakfast. The owners and staff were always available during our stay and were very helpful. The hotel’s restaurant also had great daily specials and a really good menu for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Excellent location with wonderful staff Very helpful and a very good food in the morning as well in the evening. We will definitely come again
Only the location
We stayed there during August with 2 kids. Air conditioner did not work and it was 30 degrees. On top because of electrical fault it was smoking (!!) twice during our stay. And they did not offer a room change. When we used the pool we were told to be careful not to let the water spill out as it would flood the garage! They were unwilling to offer any compensation.
Nice property with a small restaurant for dinner. Breakfast buffet was an amazing spread. A quick 10-15 minute drive from Bolzano town. It was quiet and nice to relax in the balcony at night.
The mattresses weren't the best and could use an upgrade.
Our room was clean, comfortable and had a nice balcony with a view out across the valley to the "red wall" of the cliffs on the other side. The breakfast was excellent, with a large choice - and we could enjoy it on wide open terrace.
The swimming pool is small, so it can only really be used by a few people at the time. The location was fine for us as we were travelling by bike, but it should be noted that it's some distance outside Bolzano, if you want to go into town in the evening. However, there is a regular bus service and the bus stop is just some 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Breakfast was really great and tasty.
Clima in the room in 3rd floor is very poor and weak. We have come in hot day, but the sun was heating our room all day (Despite the blinds that nobody pulled down). It was not possible to sleep in 33 degrees in the room
Lovely staff, clean, good closed garage , easy access , pool , very comfortable. Nice views and great terraces, communal and the room terraces as well . .
Decor of the rooms a bit dated . No AC in the communal areas ( although there were two lovely outside dining areas .
Wonderful staff, very good location and very good restaurant
Beautiful place in a convenient location with amazing views from the balcony. Super clean. On site restaurant offers exceptional quality meals.
Everything was great.
I liked the location. It was not in the city but close. They offer you complimentary transportation to get to the city. Room was comfortable.
I would have liked to have a fan or something to cool down the room. It was sometimes very hot at night.
Good parking and good outdoor breakfast area.
School bus stop outside room. Loud kids at 7am tho not hotels fault
Very clean and well appointed hotel with pleasant staff
Good breakfast. Quiet location. swimming pool. Free parking. Restaurant on premises. Rotten card. Room had AC. Balcony.
bus to volcano I about 10 minute walk up/down hill. Bus runs frequently and takes about 30 minutes to volcano train station.
Great family operated hotel. Location had a fantastic view and wasn't out of our way. The pool was nicely decorated, refreshing water (which was fantastic after a hot day), clean, and deep enough to swim. The restaurant had wonderful homemade food with great service. Staff were extremely nice and friendly. Room was nice, beds were comfortable, and bathroom was big and clean. Breakfast was very homey and good.
The air-conditioner could have been stronger, but it did its job during a heatwave. Everything else was great.
