It is located in a beautiful setting and the staff is very friendly, in general. The balconies in every room are a big bonus!

At check-in I was informed I had accidentally booked a room for 2 guests (including paying for 2 breakfasts) when it was just me. Even though I had not paid, they refused to adjust my rate. This feels very dishonest to me, therefore I cannot recommend.

The property was very clean and the staff very friendly. The views are fantastic and the room is very spacious and comfortable.

Could potentially be a bit far away from the centre of Zurich for some people.

Super spacious and comfortable rooms with beautiful views and a huge balcony, exceptionally warm and hospitable staff, a great breakfast, and very helpful support with a late-night check-in. All facilities and comfort was taken care of.

Slightly away from the city centre, with the nearest public transport a 10–15 minute walk, so planning is needed if you’re not driving; also on the pricier side, though justified by the overall experience.

The view of the lake was lovely and the staff was very friendly.

It’s a bit far to downtown Lucerne (like a 10-15 minute uber). If you are looking for luxe at all this is not your place. Rooms are very sparse.

Very friendly staff, wonderful view with the hotel being directly by the lake in a quiet area. Spacious and comfortable rooms, I will definitely be back.

View from our room was beautiful - we found our stay super relaxing. Staff was wonderful— very very helpful and very accommodating - Sarah at the reception catered to all our requests and helped out with all our questions.Anna from the restaurant was also very sweet and welcoming.

Everything was great about the hotel, but the beds were awful. I really had 2 nights of bad sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Seehotel Sternen! The atmosphere is peaceful and charming, with absolutely stunning lake and mountain views - truly breathtaking. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made being away from home feel easy and welcome. The restaurant is excellent as well - delicious food and a lovely ambiance. We would happily return.

Around the property there’s not much to do a part for a walk You need to get on a bus to go to Luzern

Excellent view of Lake Lucerne, good variety for breakfast, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations for exploring the nearby towns. I would stay there again.

Beds were not very comfortable, bathroom was very small and didn’t have enough amenities, I.e. conditioner.

It's 1 hour walk to luzern city centre. You need to use transportation. Rent a car a enjoy the hotel fully

This is a lovely hotel a fifteen minute from the train station, the view of the lake was lovely and it was nice and quiet away from the city. The staff were super friendly from reception to the cleaners to the breakfast team, they were all unfailingly nice. I had to check out before breakfast and they gave me a picnic breakfast to have before I left which I appreciated. The room was clean and large and it was nice to have a kettle!

A very steep price, even for Swiss standards, with a view of the roof of reception. Room 103 avoid it has some kind of hotel electrical cupboard next door which was noisy at times, also a terrible view for the price, I did not book lake view but expected better than received.
