Hotel Gasthof Grüner Wald

The food at the restaurant was amazing -- home-cooked meal that was huge but inexpensive. The hotel rooms were large and very nice. Definitely would stay here again.

The breakfast area (not in the restaurant) was not as tidy and clean as it could have been and the selection wasn't as good as some we had during our trip but it was certainly adequate and fit the bill.

The Staff was very Friendly and helpful

Small hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. Provides a decent breakfast with the booking. There is a popular restaurant and beer garden adjoining. The hotel is not fancy, but is clean and well cared for. It's not to far removed from the Franfurt Airport, but enough you don't hear airplanes flying over all night.

A very nice typical German "Gasthof". We had an enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate coming back. Breakfast was excellent—you can't beat German rolls and cold cuts! Served from 6 am on, which I great if you need to catch an early flight out of FRA. Quite conveniently located close to the autobahn and airport. Room was small but functional. Staff was very friendly. Good wifi. Gasthof includes a restaurant with a somewhat limited menu and excellent beer.

Parking was very limited. The spots inside the Gasthof's courtyard very always taken but we found parking on the street nearby. When we arrived, the room was VERY cold as the heating had not been turned on, and it took a day to reach comfortable temperatures.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Free parking. Excellent breakfast included in room price.

No luxury but everything is provided one might need. Kind staff, nice room, nice breakfast, free parking.

Family owned nice little hotel very conveniently located just off the highway in a quiet small town. No nonsense rooms good for a short stopover. On site restaurant serving delicious food but order early and go for a walk, it takes a looong time for food to arrive. Parking places in the garden but first come first served and full when I was there.

Not far from highway, very nice and silent hotel with inner yard/cafe. Room was very clean and comfy. Check in was very easy. Breakfast was basic, but tasty and with quality products.

Room could use a better curtains to block the morning light. But otherwise we would stay again.

It’s kinda run down. It has great potential but you can tell it’s very dated and hasn’t been maintained as well as it should.

The parking spaces are few and we arrived at 9 pm and there was already no space available. Very poor breakfast..

The rooms were very well furnished and had good facilities, eg excellent en-suite. The food was of a very high standard and the whole evening of our stay was catered for exceptionally well.

Very clean, close to the motorway but quiet at night, room big enough and breakfast ok.

3 single bed room, 3rd bed was a squeaky leatherette sofa (not even sofa bed) that squeaked every time my son moved, it was not comfortable too.

A friendly family run stop-over guest house. The rooms were clean and of a good size, breakfast was brilliant. We had a couple of beers in the bar and it was friendly with a good number of locals enjoying a Friday night, but not loud and rowdy! It felt safe and comfortable, just the place to stop on the way down to Austria.

It was a warm night there was a fan but not aircon.Sadly, the bar only accepts cash

Advertised with restaurant but didn't seem to be one. No-one around on a Sunday just a basket of keys! Help yourself!

Although just for one night, the hotel met my expectations. Great staff and very helpful and polite. The breakfast had everything you need and very tasty. The garden was beautiful.

Quiet location, good food, friendly staff.

Book reading lights weren't functioning, but it wasn't a concern because the bedside lamps worked and were redundant to the reading lights.
