Pros +
- Fairly easy to find.
- Breakfast was good. The shower/bathroom ensuite were good. Quiet, slept very well.
- Such a convenient location, the staff are friendly and there's good contact before the stay.
Cons -
- Couldn't book in until 5.00. No restaurant open on a Friday.
- It seemed like the carpet in the room could have used some more vacuuming. Lots of scuff marks, which are not important, but just doesn't look that great.
- The pillows and gluten free food would be appreciated.

Comfortable and clean bed
no kettle for tea Coffee, non hairdrier, dirty paint on the walls, badly stained carpet, broken light bulbs. Things can be old but there is no excuse for no keeping a place clean
So close and convenient for the car ferry, staff always friendly, very fierce hot shower, a quiet relaxed stay.
The pillows. I will take my own next time.
Cheap easy to find the room was clean, bed average, it’s somewhere to crash on a journey, WiFi OK, no coffee.
Close to ferry port
Room smelt of smoking. Toilet didn't flush, generally poor state of repair. No kettle in the room
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good; always fresh with many choices. I slept very well
I’m an absolute dog fan! Love them all! But having a loose (unrestrained) dog wandering around in/out of the lobby doesn’t seem appropriate. Some people are fearful of dogs & being greeted outside with a bark and really scare people. Doesn’t bother me, but I’m not the majority. The hours of the front desk are limited. Maybe money being saved by that. But staff should be more readily available. Rooms are very dated. My shower head (#106) was spraying every direction including out of the shower because the curtain was too short. There was no refrigerator available in the rooms or elsewhere. My food for the week spoiled. There was only one coat hanger in room 106 but a place for many. It would be nice if there was at least instant coffee available 24/7 but only during breakfast could I get it. Walls are paper thin; everything can be heard
1st time for me at this hotel,it was a great overnight stopover on route, a lovely ? relaxed bar restaurant area
Easy to book, access, park and get to the ferry
Security gate given location, lift
Damaged shower hose & shower head. Expensive breakfast, if taken.
Can over from Ipswich uk and brought my brother to see dunkerque and gravelines christmas markets
the free carpark breakfast was ok
location is out of town .great if your heading straight to the motorway.but If you are in for seeing Dunkirk, forget it !!
Friendly staff - great breakfast, really convenient and great place to stay to explore the area.
Overall impression very good for a 2 star hotel. Straff extremely helpful and very friendly. Evening meal - although no choice- was very good and tasty. Room clean, bed confortable. Breakfast very good choice.I will stay there again.
Dog running around freely in reception area and dining room.
Lovely people, very helpful and friendly. An adorable black labrador to greet you when you are cold and tired from travelling. There are plenty of parking facilities. Located within a 10 mins drive from the beautiful town of Dunkerque. The breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. Ideal for a one or two night stop over.
It's not a case of didn't like but there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room( which I understand) My only suggestion would be to be able to help yourself to tea and coffee from maybe a vending machine that you pay to use in the entrance/lobby. That is all.
Price, parking, no-fuss check-in, location just a few miles from Dunkirk ferry port, so good for an overnighter before catching ferry to Dover, or landing in Dunkirk from Dover.
Room quite small and basic, no frills, but ok for a budget hotel.
It's in a relatively secure location, so it's less of a worry concerning your vehicle. Its a well used hotel offered at a very reasonable price, if you can ignore the general grubbiness that comes from hard use, it's fine. My bathroom was spotlessly clean and everything worked. The bedding was clean, the room showed signs of wear.Don't expect a Palace
Basically the general grubbiness of it all, but for the price, you get what you pay for
Good location close to the ferry, Check-in is really uncomplicated.
I have already stayed a couple of times in this hotel. But this time we haven‘t slept too well, because the mattress was on some kind of wooden board, there was no slatted frame.
It was as we expected and the shower was good and the bed was hard but comfortable the rooms we stayed in were both the same layout and it was nice to be on the ground floor.Breakfast was good all the usual stuff crossaints,Panna chocolate, bread, meat, cheese, jam and fresh orange and coffee or tea.
Our first stay was good this time not as good because the people above us had dogs in their room (we have no problem with that just so long as they are only for pet owners) it was because there were 2 big dogs and they padded around all night waking us up several times as the floor must have been wooden which is sensible for cleaning not good for people below ☹️I found out when I got into bed that although bedding was clean it had got holes coming in it and I kept sticking my fingers in them while sleeping which also woke me up.I don't like to complain but it's an honest review and obviously with any hotel these things happen.
