Checkin Montserrat

The room was dirty and the old, worn carpet stained and disgusting. Felt more like an old college dorm room that a hotel.

Great location, big rooms, spotless.

Check out is a bit early (10:00 AM), but it's not really an issue.

Breakfast was good.staff was nice

I found a lot of hair in my room. Seems like the property needs some love.

We absolutely loved the very comfortable rooms which are recently updated, with nice air conditioning and a balcony. The pool is fantastic and large and well cared for. My kids really enjoyed the basketball soccer area and the game room.

The hotel food is really pretty bad . This is basically a hotel mostly for tours that come through , and they feed people en masse from an unappetizing buffet. And there are no other places to go in walking distance. That said we really enjoyed being here while we climbed at Montserrat. It was a lovely getaway. But it’s worth it to drive away from the hotel to eat.

The setup of the dinning room is not cosy - it looks like school eating rooms.

Beautiful views of Montserrat hill from the balcony. Room modern and spacious. Reception staff made us feel very welcome. On-site parking is great and plentiful.

The restaurant is only open a couple of days a week in the evening. "Bar" is a loose term, we only saw beer for sale, it was more a coffee shop. There's no background music anywhere and therefore the hotel lacks soul. The bathroom in our room was surrounded by glass and is not my bag, even though there was a privacy strip, but that's just my preference.

The hotel room was very nice, clean, and had a lovely view. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety to choose from. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room, which would have made the stay even better.

The recent update in the decor didn't quite work completely.I couldn't help thinking the long corridor and red doors in the access to the rooms had a bit of a "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" vibe..it just didn't match the rest of the hotel and not nearly quite the service and professionalism of the staff

Very clean room, beautiful view of the mountain. The free private parking was the main thing for us. Very good value for money.

Room was very nice, clean and modern. Breakfast had a nice selection.

Seems like they host a lot of business trips for large groups, so it was a bit noisy in the evening, and we could hear our neighbors through the wall.

The view on the mountains was splendid and the room had everything we needed (TV has access to Netflix). There also was a dinner buffet which was very good.

No negative comment

We only stayed overnight so did not really use any facilities, its a basic hotel with great views, snack bar style option for food could not go into the restaurant due to a group staying in the hotel that had booked it out. Location is away from the small town you need a car to go anywhere. Good for getting to Monserrat which was our reason for booking it. All of the staff we had contact with were very pleasant and professional.

Finding the hotel is NOT easy no signs are up to give you a clue of the direction to go once you have arrive in the village, we had to drive around the village a few times before we found it. other Hotels had signs. This needs to be improved.

I was checking out for a longer stay next summer. Because of the large pool. Which looked good.

Food awful for Spain. Tinned mixed veg. Bulk buy calamari and potato’s braves. I’m disabled. Obviously so, walking slowly with two sticks. Yet it was 150 paces, 60cm, to my room. When up in the lift NO direction to my room number 218, because they expect people to have used the stairs.

air conditioning in the room was not working. I informed reception on Saturday evening but till Monday still was not working.

Big clean room with stunning Montserrat view. Parking next to the hotel. Garden, outside swimming pool.

It was almost impossible to open and/or close bathroom door, but we told that in the reception and for sure it was sorted.

The cleanliness and the breakfast were good

No privacy in the superior bedrooms, no door for the shower with a mirror directly opposite so the people on the bed can watch the shower. Great for couples not so much for a 3 bed family room. We chose this hotel for parking and the pool, but on checkin day we were told that both are unavailable. We had to park on a steep barely paved hill. The location is also in the middle of nowhere, at least 10mins by car to the nearest restaurant. For the price, this room was really robbery, considering that there were places for much cheaper in the area.

had a lovely 1-night stay here while hiking the Camino Catalan, gracias! note that other maps may show the address as further up the hill, but it’s literally the big hotel, can’t miss it
