Staff is very helpful and polite! The hostel is social, clean and well organized

The beds are not so comfortable, especially pillows

The worst part was definitely the fact that there are no physical staff. You can only contact for help through WhatsApp and they take a long time to reply. I was locked out of my room twice because of this. Once locked out of the building in the rain and they were not replying. If it wasn't for this I would have given a way higher rating

Lights came on everytime someone entered the room... Not enough blocked off area around beds to keep from bunk mattress light bleed, or from ceiling lights shining on upper bunk. Had a couple of inconsiderate roomies being loud talking and banging things around... Other guests were fine.Nice and helpful staff (Padro y Pablo), clean rooms, kitchen, seating area. Nice locale to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Appreciated the close proximity to Barcelona airport, and staff called a taxi for me (47€ total...was able to pay with credit card). Overall decent experience

The staff is awesome! They made all possible to give us a comfortable stay at the hostel, despite the problem with the air con. The place is clean and you have iron and washing machine available for your clothes. Also, there are snacks in a machine on the main area.It is very close to a metro station, and there are bars and shops nearby.

The air con was not working during the whole stay. It's a problem that lasts several days and there is no near future in which it seems to be solved. This should be advised on Booking.com so you can choose whether to stay or not. Above all, because the price is not cheap.At check-in time, the staff had changed me to a smaller room at same price, because the air con works better in this kind of rooms. However, it didn't work. Next morning I woke up with a lot of pain in my body due to be sweating all night long.Please, solve that problem, because I was there just for 1 night, but the staff have to work there everyday. The big extractors are just at the check-in desk, so there it is even worst. Imagine the high temperature that the staff must be suffering!Finally, the showers could be adjusted a bit so the water would flow better (now there are water streams in all directions and it's hard not to get wet the things hanging inside).

Definitely a NO go

The place had a very bad smell. You enter the room and you are immediately hit with a sharp bad smell. The smell doesn't go away. There was an AC in the room but the room was hot hot. The room was suffocating. The AC was not working correctly. The beds don't have a shelf to keep your phone charging. All the hostels i've been in had this simple shelf. The bed is small and uncomfortable. My railing for the curtain of the bed was broken and fixed with tape. The showers were small and stank horribly of pee. This is one of the worst hostels i've been to. Can't believe it is rated 7.4 at the time of writing. Definitely will look elsewhere.

The interior inside is like an Underground. And There is not much facilities.

the staff and cleanliness was perfect. i had a mishap with an air bnb and never thought of staying in a hostel. but i ended having to book late at night. i told them my story and tgey was exceptional. there is an irish guy who works there and he us a credit to the hola hostel franchise

The number of toilets was little ..and the shower was a bit tight and tiny... our main door room the card was not working well people had to knock on the middle of the night and we had to open for them , since we are near the door.. overall is a good hostal am happy with my stay

The best thing is the curtains on the beds. This and the price were the main reasons why I chose this place. I chose a room with 18 beds, the room has a T shape but is fully packed with beds. So, obviously, you can hear other people. There are quite spacious lockers for each bed, which is also very nice.

Room was kinda dirty. I am not sure if they have changed the sheets of the beds. Water in the shower did not get hot.

The staff at the reception are very friendly and welcoming. That's probably the best point of the hostel. The hostel is in a quiet road near the tube so it's good for that too.

The photos on the website make the hostel look brighter and more spacious then what it is. In real life, it's small. As soon as you go in the hostel through a sliding door there is a tiny reception on your left, followed by a tiny kitchen still on your left. The kitchen doesn't have a proper hob but just a couple of portable electric hobs you place on the table when you need them. Opposite the tiny kitchen there are a few rows of long narrow tables with metal chairs that are extremely noisy when you move them! There is a TV right above an armchair, on all day, but I wouldn't call that a lounge space, no way! All this is in just one room! The bedrooms are crammed with bunk beds, each bed as a cabinet for your things. You better have a small luggage because there is no other space in the rooms to put anything else! There isn't a chair or a table you can use to make your luggage for example, nothing! Also, major disappointment THERE ARE NO WINDOWS ! Other than the main sliding door you go in the hostel, there are no other ways you can get fresh air in. The bathrooms have poor ventilation and they feel dump. On top of that the thing I most disliked was that the narrow corridor to the bedrooms and bathrooms has a washing machine and a tumble dryer one on top of each other and they are on ALL DAY! It's not the noise I am complaining but the smell of the detergent they use to wash the sheets is so strong, it's everywhere! The 18bed bedroom where I was has a small window on the ceiling but for some reasons is locked and blocked and it cannot be open. There is air conditioning on everywhere but in my opinion is not sufficient to remove the steam from showers and the strong smell of detergent/dumpness from the washing machine and tumble dryer.

My colleague and I were staying at the hostel for 6 night it we felt like at home. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind with anything we needed!The location good but everything is connected with busses and metro closeby.Highly recommend it to anyone!
