B&B HOTEL Châteauroux A20 L'Occitane

This is the second time I have stayed here. Once you get past the weird floor covering pattern in the bedrooms you will find the room very comfortable for the overnight stay

Excellent location and price for a budget stopover on a long journey. The room has everything you need and is comfortable and clean. Lots of restaurants close by and B&B Hotels give you 10% off which we used. Great breakfast too with plenty of choice.

Small rooms

The bed was good.

The room was quite small, and the shower and bathroom where plastic inbuilt boxes. It felt cheap and like in a prison.

Convenient, friendly. Have stayed each time I travel south or north; for a decade. Hotel recently updated after management change.

Location, cleanliness, en suite

the beds were very comfy and the room is very clean

This is a soulless hotel. Functional for a nights sleep but thats it. At breakdast there was no coffee, no eggs, no bacon, only croissants. The two staff members could see I was trying to ask them but instead carried on their conversation for five minutes.

Situation is excellent.Shower pod good sizeDogs allowed with pleasure. Liked the flooring in the room. It seemed to be a padded Lino, no worries about spoiling carpets! Offer of 10% discount on nearby restaurants.

The breakfast. No bread or scrambled egg (run out by 8.30). Only a few tables so filled up quickly. Very little choice.Toilet ‘pod’ very very small with limited extraction! Air conditioning inadequate with no instructions in the room of how to use!No mention on booking site of additional tax for dogs to be paid on arrival. Could be a problem for some!Three B&B close together with similar signage was confusing!

Extremely comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Convenient for A20 and places to eat. Free Wifi.

More TV channels?

Easy access from Autoroute. Easy check-in. Rooms small but very clean. Staff friendly. Couldn't figure out how to get B&B wifi but didn't matter too much as the stay was short.

Wifi connection didn't appear. All the other times we've stayed in B&B Hotels over the last 10 years it's been available and easy.

Good location and adequate parking

Very hard bed, one side of which creaked every time person that side moved. Noise travelled through corridors, constant banging of doors, very plastic bathroom and toilet facilities

Our stay was pleasant. Good value for money with the basics available in room and a very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is fairly remote from the center of the nearest town which forces customers to drive to Chateauroux.

Colour scheme floor/ceilings in room, bed/pillows correct but not very comfortable, shower and toilet typical plastic units which is fine but showing signs of aging, lackluster maintenance,.thin doors that don't close well, ...

Very clean room, good breakfast in the morning.

The coffee machine was not working

Clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast with choice of warm and cold food. Vending machines available for drinks and snacks in foyer. Choice of fast food type eating places nearby.. Convenient for access to motorway.

Clothes rail close to bed inconvenient, and shower and toilet very small. A long way from town centre.

the air con was broken, it was red hot and stuffy and we had to open the windows, so were kept awake by the traffic noise all night
