Greet Hotel

The staff were superb and extremely hospitable. Check-in was very smooth, and the checkout time of 12 PM was a big plus compared to many places where checkout is much earlier. This is a budget hotel, but it offers excellent value for money. The lobby is lovely, with cozy seating areas where you can relax. I didn’t opt for breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The room was small but comfortable.

For travelers visiting Annecy who rely on public transport, it’s worth being aware of the bus schedule. During the day, there are enough buses to reach the city center within about half an hour. However, we found that the last bus from the center to the nearest stop runs at 7:45 PM, which felt a bit early. As a result, we had to take an Uber back to the hotel. Normally, the closest stop is just a 5-minute walk away, but after 8 PM the nearest stop accessible by public transport is about a kilometer away. This may be due to a reduced winter schedule, but if this is a concern for you, it might be better to book accommodation closer to the town center.

The property had a reception service that was open late. This was good for us, after a flight delay we arrived at 11:15.

Room and bathroom was dated and a little small.

The parking space is very large and has a good view. It is also very convenient to visit a supermarket and gas station.

The cleaning works can still be improved.

Good value for money and very clean. We arrived a few hours ahead of the check-in time. The hotel staff were very helpful in accommodating us with a small additional charge.

The location is somewhat inconvenient if you use public transportation. The rooms did not have storage space.The AC in our room did not work. But the hotel staff provided a fan.

Service. Rude staff rolled their eyes at me when I was distressed/crying. She said I had to pay abd even when I showed her proof I had paid before arrival via booking she said I had to pay. Location. In the middle of the countryside. 15 minutes uphill walk from the nearest bus stop (into Annecy cebtre). At night time it was very dark with no street lights.Cleanliness. Black mould in the shower, smell of dampness in tiny bathroom, tiles in shower stained yellow. Giant cobweb outside my room and my child ran her finger along the corridor rail thing and it was thick with dust.

Not much. It had lots of hot water and good water pressure.No bedbugs.

Where to start?? The property is in need of a lot of TLC, as well as updating. The building inside and out is poorly kept. The room had no amenities, not even a coffee maker. When we asked about complementary coffee we were told there was a charge. The A/C didn’t work, only the fan. The room looked more like a kid’s summer camp with a double bed with a bunk bed on top. Breakfast was very minimal. We were booked for 4 nights, but decided to leave after 3, even though we could not get a refund for the 4th night.

Not sympathetic recepcjonist. Charge for a small pet when in the room was no carpet, no bed cover, no curtains, no fabric chairs etc. - no reason for charge.Between bed sheets we found underwear!! Looks like the sheets were not changed. Called personel apologised, changed sheets for new but ripped one and too small for a bed cover - not enough for 2 ppl to cover. We were offered coffee at 11 a clock at night as an apology. Refused, but ask to bring in the morning. While leaving hotel there was nobody to even say goodbye, and no coffee to be seen too.

The staff are really friendly and kind, and they are very sweet with our dog too.

Nothing - we have repeatedly been back to this hotel due to the welcome we receive.

TO IMPROVE THE CLEANNESS OF THE BATHROOM AND THE FURNITURE IN THE FAMILY ROOM; NO CHAIRS NO WARDROBE, CLOTHES WERE PLACED ON THE FLOOR.... :-(

The breakfast is the best. The staff is always kind and the location is the best for us as this is a stop between where we live and where we are always traveling to.

I hate the shower curtain in the shower. It is gross and really should be taken out. The room also always has a mildewy smell (probably from the curtain).

Location from highway, breakfast is excellent and price is good.

Bathroom a bit stinky, shower didn’t drain and shower curtain needs to be replaced.
