Location , breakfast oke .

After having stayed at this hotel many times we had expected a better room . According to desk manager it was according to our booking.During check in , our room was not cleaned and availale at that Other guests got a room without question.

Everything was superclean. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms are big and spacious. The parking is right in front of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is great. The swimming pool is great. Breakfast is quite plentiful and very nice. The rooms area is quite quiet, so one con sleep nicely. I recommend it and would come again.

The gym could be more equipped (for now there are only cardio appliances; some weights and one or two multi appliances would be great and much better). The dining hall/restaurant is actually the banquette hall, so one sits and feels like he/she just came after the wedding has ended. :D (it is very clean and breakfast is great, but I personally like it more cozy and familiar).

The room and bathroom were spacious, the bed comfortable, great breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent.

Although airconditioning was advertised, only 4 rooms actually had this. As it was very hot, this was essential!

The room was of a reasonable size and there was a gym

I had an unpleasant unacceptable encounter with one of the receptionists. The hotel had a policy of providing 2 water bottles each day. On day 2, no water bottles were delivered. I informed reception and problem was solved. Day 3, same problem. I went to reception. The response was "I am very surprised because I saw water bottles being delivered". He told me to go the bar to buy some. I told him I had already gone to bar but no-one was there. His response "what do you want me to do about it - this is reception and not a bar". I have been travelling to Germany for 35 years - never encountered anything like this.

Cleanliness and breakfast

No accommodation for an early check in. The hotel did not appear to be at all full and we arrived only an hour before the published check in time. It would have been a small cost free gesture that would have influenced where we stay the next time.

Beautiful setting near the park and dining by the park. The dining area was lovely and breakfast was superb. Dining staff are very professional.

Strange smoking policy. Our room was nonsmoking but just below us was a balcony where it was allowed to smoke - we had to close our window daily to make sure the smoke didn’t enter our room. We asked for a shirt to be washed but it wasn’t cleaned ( we weren’t charged).

Good beds !!! Good breakfast !!!

Difficult to find the hotel by car !!!

good location, big rooms, nice clean bathroom and shower, friendly and efficient staff. protected carpark.

the rooms are warm in the summer, there is no airco. but a ventilator is provided.

Ideal location in the center of Bad Dürkheim, convenient room, nice wellness area, great service. Overall great stay.

Staffs at the receptionist were very nice. Nice design & interior of the ground floor (lobby & TV area). Spa facilities were very good and the surrounding is beautiful

Walls in the room was quite thin. We had trouble sleeping as we could hear things from the hallway and other rooms

The location was really fantastic. I could see the city with a hill view in the morning which was breathtaking. The hotel has a very nice garden with a fountain in the centre. It looks really majestic. The breakfast was amazing as well. The staff was really nice and cordial and ensured that my every need is catered to.

The hotel was well situated for the Christmas markets / restaurant/ shops that where within metres on the door. The house keeping lady that came to our room was lovely, tried really hard to talk to us with very limited English.

I paid through booking.com for breakfast @ £15PP including children. Breakfast direct with hotel is only £7.50 for children. Book when you arrive.

the reception staff were rude, unhelpful and tried to charge for breakfast we didn’t book or have.

Upon our arrival, the front office staff were both helpful and friendly. The location is excellent and the accommodation, in our case a Comfort Double in House 2 with no balcony but a really pleasant view to the east, was really comfortable and all we needed for our short summer stay. The hotel has a good kitchen with excellent wait staff; buffet breakfast was really very good. Parking (at a reasonable 7€ per day) is onsite and well facilitated by reception staff.

Nothing to really gripe about, although the small unsupervised spa facility is a bit ‘half baked’. It is kept very clean and has a small indoor ‘plunge’ pool … not for swimming. Unfortunately, it was too warm, therefore not refreshing. Good saunas but no steam room (Dampfraum). Good space for relaxation if not too many people there; but not a facility for the ‘serious sauna set’!

Facilities were fine, i felt relaxed.

Wasn’t aware Germans sauna naked, no problem to me could have been explained at check in. They must have been aware of my nationality after asking for my passport

Breakfast was well assorted, good coffee, tidy rooms and facilities, in general well organized hotel.

Very hot room, noise from the street: we were appartently given the room nobody ever wants to have. Adequate, but not very welcoming staff, even to German standards.People smoking at the breakfast outside, smoking people should be seperated from the non-smoking people.

Quiet and peaceful with a good bar and restaurant plus pool and spacious gym
