Ibis Baar Zug Hotel

The location was great right near the train station. There's not a lot of options for restaurant but it is OK for the price near Zug

Ideal location - across from the train station plus with many shops/restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly a d helpful, was great to be able to leave my bag after my check out.

Reception is super busy , sometimes they have to be out to do some work then you need to wait for them to be back

The staff were amazing and friendly I would choose this hotel again because of the good customer service

Very basic and very expensive. Comfortable beds, nice TV and nice location. For the price I expected at least tea/coffee etc, but it was a bed and tv with a bathroom. I know that's what a hotel is, but I just don't think the value matches what you get. Would I stay here again? Only if I have to. Staff were very friendly.

Location. Near the station, and near my work location.

A lot of maintenance such as on the lifts. Breakfast wasn’t very good and poorly maintained. Quite a lot of the food had ran out and wasn’t being refilled.

The rooms urgently need refurbishment. The prices where very high. Big misssmatch of Price-Value.

The hotel is right next to the Baar train station, which makes it easy to get to with the train. There is also an underground car park which needs to be paid separately. The room was clean and hot water remains stable when you set it to the level you need. For a business trip, where you only need a bed at night, this hotel is convenient and satisfactory.

The room was cold, and the window wasn't properly sealed, allowing a small draught to come in. The heating system took forever to warm the room, until it became way too warm in the middle of the night. The floors are cold and not carpeted, so remember to bring your own slippers because the hotel doesn't provide any.

Nice placement near the train station

Can't give more than average rating to a place that charges you 200+ euro per night but fails to show the minimal care of welcoming you with a bottle of water in the room.

exactly in front of Baar station, meaning few minutes from Zug centerit had all you need for a business travel

The location is amazing and the reception / breakfast area are nice and modern.

How the room was furnished was very basic. There were no colours, no feeling of coziness. The bathroom was also very small and too white.

Location for transport and other amenities was excellent

The rooms were a bit tight for a couple. For a single person it was fine.

super convenient location next to the train station which was all we needed. A clean, comfy, safe place to sleep for our late night arrival. The rooms were surprisingly noise-proof and the AC was much appreciated on the 25 degree night that we arrived. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, friendly and cheerful. Also a plus.
