During the night it was freezing cold in the room. The bedsheets also were very cold, so I slept in my winter jacket. Then when I wanted a hot shower in the morning at 9:30 the water was cold. When leaving I discovered that the inside bedsheets are very stained, disgusting.

Good parking,

No air conditioning. Breakfast was overpriced. No coffee available at 9:30 in the morning. Already cleaning up after breakfast. (6am-9am) In General room was overpriced at 121Euro. We are on vacation, so we do not leave the room until 9am.

Everything was good.

The road to the hotel was closed because of a construction work. The hotel staff gave us directions on how to get there.

The staff is friendly and helpful.Nothing in particular about the hotel.

The room was a bit depressing. The walls bear the signs of old furniture. Some repairs are needed. The main light piece were dim. There is very little room for our belongings. The night stands are two wooden boxes without drawers. The window faced the N447 and quite noisy.

there were no kettle in the room but stuff kindly give us one upon request, very much appreciated there ate very mi e park near by, just around 10 min walkthere are restaurant and vending machine in n the hotel- very convenient

lighting in the room was very poor, even when we switched on all lights it was not enoughbeds are not comfy enough

Got what I paid for.

Dinner was advertised until 22:00. When we arrived for dinner at 21:30, we were informed dinner has closed already. Disappointing.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good. I enjoyed my morning walk

The room was quite small and cramped

68€ per night, you cannot expect a Palace hotel. There was free of charge and a charger for electric cars.

The rugs are upon entrance and in the hallways are old and dirty. The beds have stains on them, bathrooms are small and showers are the smallest I’ve seen. The pictures presented do not match with what we had.

Personal service is very funny but they ra more worry to catch money than give a nce service. Probably because of pressure of the boss.

During 2 days i had an death spider in fronf of my bed and the clean personal dedn't clean it :-)No big water bottle on the bar service.

The staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable. We were able to park up on arrival and walk into Leiden about 30 mins.

After discovering life bed bugs in in bed I immediately contacted front desk and requested a refund since I refused to spend time there I requested a refund which they couldn't do since I booked with Booking. comFrom Booking.com I demand a total refund

Run from this hotel

Worst hotel experience of my life. Accommodation without air conditioning, my mistake in not checking because this information was available, but who would imagine that a hotel charging a high price would not have air conditioning? Room not cleaned, bathroom trash not taken out. Room without ventilation. Terrible, breakfast just a few options. Hotel that could not cost more than 50 euros.I've stayed in other Bastion units, great experiences, but I wouldn't recommend this one (voorschoten), not even for my dog, seriously.Anyway, run away, don't even go through the door.

Comfortable bed.

Dangerous sharp metal light shades on the bed head. I banged my head and was lucky not to cut it open. The same metal covered the toilet roll and I bruised my arm when sitting down on the toilet. This should be investigated.

Room was clean and the bed very comfortable - the shower was good - no complaints at all other than a broken light fitting and a towel rail that were not fixed during our stay.
