Great location near train station but also to restaurants and attractions. Great views as the apartment over looks the canal and a windmill! There was great communication as we wanted to drop off our bags a little early and I had difficulty (my error from exhaustion) with using the code upon check in.

The place is really beautiful and close to everything. Just for your information: for people with mobility difficulties, the stairs are a bit steep.

Because it's located near a few bars, there was some noise at night — but it was still okay.

A very lovely place, nearby the station and looks over a river. I think the photos shown on web really do wrong to the place, as it is a lot more spacious and beautiful in reality. It is very cozy, full equipments and fit for group stays. I would return if provided the chance.

This place far exceeded my expectations. My family, including two kids 11 and 14, really loved it. Extremely convenient location for our travels, just a short walk from the train station. Beautiful canal and windmill view. Two stories - worked great for a family (also the place had safety gates for the stairs if traveling with younger kids).

The kitchen facilities are very simple -- it was all we needed for our stay, but if you were planning to cook extensively it might grow to be challenging.

Very nice small apartment next to the central station - ideal location. Everything I needed during my two-week stay was there. The host provided all the necessary information and was available all the time.

Due to a very central location it could be noisy. Kitchen was very tiny, luckily I was in Leiden for work and didn't need to use it much.

It's very close from the train station and also close from the downtown markets. There are a few good supermarkets nearby. Aparment is spacious and very sunny. Sun comes right in through big windows. Beds were comfy. I liked it overall. Staffs were very kind and willing to help always. I appreciated it so much. The cafe downstairs is very yummy and you can see the windmill from your window.Also, the cafes and shops twinkle in the dawn and evening. It's so pretty. There are many people who passes by since it's near station, but the house is very quiet. I only had fun looking at people outside.

Only one thing if I'd mention is there's no elevator, so you have to bring your luggage upstairs. But it was just one stairs upwards for me, so I was okay. Other than that, everything was so convenient and cozy.

The steps to apartment is narrow and steep. Maybe a climb for some with heavy luggage.

Price was good, located near a lot of dining places.

It is located above a bar with outdoor smoking terrace, so once you open the door, smoke smell gets in. You need to be careful with the staircases. It is not suitable if you are travelling with large suitcase, it is an accident waiting to happen if you make a mistake while carrying large suitcases up and down the staircase.

Check in and getting the key was very easy. Very good location

Thin duvet and hard bed - also a little harshly decorated, not very homely.

Great central location but still quiet, nicely equipped mini-kitchen, clean and functional.

Bedsheets were too short. Can occasionally get a bit noisy from partiers in the area.

This apartment is in a brilliant location near the centre of Leiden, near the windmill, and also not too far from the station. It is self contained and has facilities for self-catering, although there are so many eateries nearby this might not be needed. Our host was communicative ahead of the stay with the information needed and the apartment was clean on arrival. Leiden has a compact centre and everywhere is easily walkable... or you can take a boat!

The steep stairs in the communal area might not be to everybody's liking (be aware this is an historic old building without a lift); the door code was a bit fiddly to use on arrival but worked fine after that

Spacious, clean apartment in good central location. Lovely view over canal and good facilities for preparing breakfast and small meals including coffee machine.

Very hot in upstairs bedrooms, no fans (we did request) or ac so had to sleep with windows open which resulted in lots of mosquito bites despite using sprays etc. Fans and screens on windows would have vastly improved our stay.

Convenient location. The room is small but well-equipped and clean.

There were mosquitos at night, which was very disturbing. My daughter got many itchy bumps as a result. Yet we couldn't close the windows as it was hot with stuffy air on the days we stayed. We'd used insect repellent spray, but it was useless. The property could consider more effective insect repellent measures during hot seasons. Besides, the stairway to the room was very narrow and steep. It was very difficult for people with heavy luggage like me. A warning should be given for people with heavy luggage.
