staff wasn't that cheerful and the breakfast was not that good. keep that in mind that you're paying a lot to this hotel, I expected more We had to leave early do to emergencies so we stayed one night, but I didn't like my stay that much it wasn't the worst thing but when I think about the money I am giving I expected more

The location is nice and we were welcomed by a nice gentle employee.

The room was so cold and you can not control the heating or cooling from your room as they control it from the reception which is closed at night. For an infant, the night was horrible.The front main door is closed after 11 pm and no one told us about that (there is some written info in the room but we did not notice) and we had to stay at night under the rain trying to find a solution until a lady that works in a nearby shop saw us and told us about the other side door.The balcony is nice and great view of the lake, but very noisy because of the street, noise must be dealt with.

Rooms are excellent. Super clean and spacious. Staff is absolutely friendly and courteous. Would definitely come back.

The only thing I could say it could be better is that it’s only street parking and it can be limited finding parking across the street. Nonetheless there are additional parking spaces around the corner. Not a deal breaker.

We loved the location and enjoyed walking around the hills on the winding streets. We loved everything about the room. We sat on the balcony often. I made a cup of tea. The bathroom exceeded our expectations. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was perfect. The hostess who greeted us upon our arrival was great. The lady who served our dinner and assisted us in the morning was very pleasant. The dinner was the best lasagna and fish we have enjoyed in a long time.

I didn't like the fact that we only scheduled the one night stay. Of course, that was not your fault. ?

Breakfast was included and decent, the staff were helpful, Argegno is in a relatively central location on the west side of Lake Como and getting to/from other towns by car was fairly easy. Finding parking near the hotel wasn't difficult (they give you a parking voucher for 3.50/day for a parking lot very close to the hotel).

The rooms look far more modern in the photos than they actually are. The online photos are misleading and portray a modern, updated establishment, which the hotel isn't. The reality is that the rooms are outdated. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs.The location was also an issue. The hotel is situated right next to a busy road, and there is noise from the traffic. The bathroom wasn't great either, as flushing didn't work properly.Overall, this was a bit of a frustrating experience and would only recommend if you're traveling solo - you get what you pay for.

Views, location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff were all above expectation. Breakfast was delicious also.

Nothing, the stay could not have been better.

The staff was excellent; views were amazing; the balcony was enormous with a fabulous view. Breakfast was delicious.

The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked.

Nice, small hotel right on the shoreline boulevard. The rooms were airy and comfortable with sufficient amenities to make the stay all you need. Breakfast buffet was much larger than I had expected with just the things I value in a good hotel breakfast: scrambled eggs made of real eggs, fresh bread, and something for my sweet tooth?. Also, the restaurant offers very good value and good food.

The central location means that there will be some noise from the street. Fortunately, the bars and restaurants close early so no real problem there. The walls are not very well isolated so if you happen to have loud neighbours you will hear them. There was an issue with the air con control for our room so we had to ask the reception to turn on and off our AC.

Stunning views, comfortable and clean rooms, and incredible food.

Beautiful breath taking view, room as clean as it gets, really friendly people, nice breakfast. Best choice.

The room was small and there was noise from the bar next door until late and early in the morning. Ok for a quick pit stop.

tight for 3 persons with the 3 luggagesthe main en charge of the breakfast/ in charge during the day is not accommodatingwhat happened was i asked nicely on how to work out the toaster ( a bit different from what we have )she told me how but looks not happy and with an Italian language she was uttering something to her self in the sideone morning our child missed the breakfast coz he is not feeling well i asked for a toast and i just pay itshe’ve done it but again uttering something in her language to herselffind it. not professional other than thatthe rest of the staff was very very goodvery accommodating and friendly

Great view right on the lake front. Spacious bedroom and nice breakfast. Staff were lovely. Bus stop and boats on your door step.

Nice location, the rooms are clean. The breakfast is tasty. We ate at the restaurant, their food is tasty and their Tiramisu is excellent

A nice hotel in a great location in a small cosy town. Just outside the hotel there's a ferry terminal and a bus stop (though you have to plan your trips around the lake in advance because ferries don't stop here quite that often), several restaurants close by. The staff is helpful and friedly, breakfast was to our liking as well.

Pillows might have been softer

Great selection for breakfast, view out to the lake was magical and the owners and staff were all very helpful Bed was comfortable

A couple of water glasses in the room would have been good. And some long life milk to go with tea/coffee available
