Cons -
- The young man at the reception on a night of our arrival was not helpful , appeared arrogant. Talked to a manager the next day, voicing concerns, she did apologize.
- There was no towels in the bedroom, I had to ask in the front desk and the staff at the pool was rude when I asked for towels.
- Dated, needs a top to bottom overhaul. Also doesn’t tell you about paying some tax on arrival.

very quiet, cozy, spacious and comfortable place, right in the center, no street noise, small cozy spa, had a room with a view of the mountains, every morning was a delight to the eyes! highly recommended!
Lovely stay in Zakopane, the hôtel was well located, felt well as soon as we arrived, plenty to choose from for breakfast, everything fresh
Nice location and view. And also SPA in the hotel was perfect addition:)
The location was perfect just behind the main street. The room was very spacious, great that we had a separate lounge area & the view of the mountains was stunning. The pool & spa area was great. All the staff were very helpful & friendly. I would definitely recommend.
The room was very large and the entire hotel looked elegant. The location is great, right next to the main street, but with a more remote and cozy vibe. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a little balcony and a nice view of nearby rustic houses/hotels and the snowy peak of the mountains in the distance. The person at the reception was polite, and we could leave our luggage in the storage room both before check-in and after check-out, which was convenient.
Be aware that the swimming pool and SPA area are only open from 2PM-10PM. Since the checkout is at noon, we were planning to use the swimming pool on the morning of our check-out, but found out at the reception that it's not open in the morning. Even looking now, I don't see this timetable mentioned anywhere on the booking page, and I think it would be reasonable for us to assume the pool is open in the morning (unless otherwise advertised). The pool was the main reason we booked a room at this hotel, otherwise I don't think it's worth paying this much money. It was pretty cold in the room, but the blankets were fortunately thick enough.
Corridors and entrance a bit tired
Breakfast .. you pay full price for kids over 4 . We just stated somewhere else was for free till 16
Very nice hotel with an excellent location. The size of room was good and has everything that you need . Breakfast was with various options so you can choose what you like. The boys was pool and jacuzzi in the hotel that is open till 10 PM. This was very nice to go to the pool after long day ski or trip
The location is brilliant! And the view from our room onto Giewont was spectacular. One short side step from the pedestrian promenade, the Krupówki. Access to shops and restaurants, as well as lovely Zakopane walks. The location is top if you want to be close to the town centre.
Unfortunately the furniture and decor are very outdated and especially with the upmarket hotels available now in Zakopane, Krupówki 40 could have an interior redesign . Also, when we were there, the lift did not work. The breakfast room is small and the hotel could gain charm by having a bar/ restaurant on site, especially for larger families travelling and wanting a quiet nightcap in the hotel.Parking is a problem as well but seems could be accommodated.
It hotel was in the centre , close to all shops
They dont speak a lot in english, the room was not clean after our first night only towels were cleaned and the second night i had to ask them for new towels.
Property and stuff , cleaning were so good.
Clients were lit bit rude ) they don’t let other people use jakuzzi or sauna )) maybe hotel can make internal rule to let everyone to use facilities :D breakfast was good, but not too much options
Everything was great, nice location, in the center, but it was calm at night due to location of the building. The views from the balcony are amazing, spa and room facilities are nice. The staff is super friendly, especially blond woman serving breakfast and cleaning service staff. We gonna return here every time we are in Zakopane.
Absolutely fantastic location in central Zakopane with great views (book a mountain view room).Comfortable spacious room with balcony, well appointed bathroom and tea / coffee facilities. The onsite swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi offered a welcome time to relax after long days. Will definitely stay here for my next visit to Zakopane.
Lack of working plug sockets which weren't being utilised by tv, fridge etc. Not a deal breaker by any means!
Location is perfect, just a minute walk from Kropowki. Room was specious and we had mountain view. Hotel has great facilities including swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. We went a few times and we were the only people there so was great
No hotel parking and you have to pay to park next to hotel (probably due to location)Hotel room was way too hot and AC didnt work ?♀️
That it was very central to the main street
A bit run down, needs a renovation
It was clean, warm, fantastic view from window
If you need something from declared facilities, you should ask. For example cleaning, extra toilet paper, working hairdryer and so on
There wasn't much choice at breakfast, but the food was fresh and tasty and regularly served.Excellent location in the very heart. And that's all the positives about
I haven't given a negative review in 15 years, but today is the day. There are more than enough complaints.-The photos are taken on purpose. A surprise awaits you at your destination ?-The hotel has a miniature parking lot, permanently full. - Private parking behind the hotel 20€ per night- miniature wellness - open 2x per day. Saunas permanently closed - Finnish sauna for a maximum of 3 people- for renting a bathrobe 15€ !- There is a provocative guard in the miniature wellness center. He acts like a prison guard. -The receptionist and maintenance man's behavior towards the customer is unacceptable and rude. -The equipment in the room is outdated, dirty, yellowed, neglected, the walls are shabby - Our bed sheet was disgustingly dirty. -the shower sprays everywhere due to -The mattress of the bed is spring-loaded, the springs are hard and creak with every movement of the body. - the pillows are high and hard There were 6 of us at the place, we all shared the same feelings.I wouldn't recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy.
The location was perfect
I had a really disappointing stay at this hotel. My room wasn't anything like the pictures online, and to make matters worse, the elevator was broken. I was traveling with my elderly parents, so having to climb five flights of stairs was a huge inconvenience. The hotel staff didn't seem to care or offer any help.
