Hotel Helios nowy BASEN ! Zakopane, centrum - tylko 300m od Krupówek !

The location is great, near the (almost) only park in the city. Southward-facing windows have spectacular view of the mountains. The hotel is really easy to reach by car and there is plenty of room for parking.

The breakfast was far from delicious, it was rather mediocre. My room was across the wall from small kitchenette and that wall was really thin. I could hear perfectly well the people there. The room's door are seemingly original from the 1970s so they aren't neither sound-proof nor very safe. Building has 3 floors and there is no lift which wasn't a problem for me but for some less-than-moderately fit guests may need to take this into account.

Little bit outdated (warned out) furniture, room and bathroom but clean

Location … literally that’s it.

Bathroom: toilet seat broken, shower had a hole in it, shower cubical was tiny how does a larger person get in/out? Bedroom: mattress was dirty full of fluff, not enough pillows, room was noisy with inside and outside noise. The lights constantly flashing (put new bulbs in). Long blonde human hairs on the beds, the coat hook was hanging off the wall so no coats could be hung up. The one day we asked for the room to be cleaned there was NO cleaning just fresh old manky towels. No refreshment refilled as stated in the particulars. Reception: you are the face of the hotel you need to greet new guests at least say “hello” on check in and also daily, you blatantly IGNORED my husband when he said hello to you! You need to do better at acknowledging guests. One fair haired lady with glasses was dam right rude!! Are you aware you are in the hospitality business? The whole building is out dated and there is NO lift so lugging all your luggage and children’s pushchairs upstairs 2/3 flights of stairs is hard. Thank goodness we never paid to eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant if that’s the standard of the hotel!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel , we were a group of 10. The location is amazing, 10 mins walk from the main Christmas market on the main street and the restaurants. Staff is very kind and helpful.In the four-person apartment, there were 2 rooms, and a kitchen which was very comfortable.

In the four-person apartment, two of the beds were not actual beds but sofas that could be converted into beds.

Location of this hotel is really good and allows you to walk to all must see places in town. A big parking lot behind the hotel is great to leave your car and enjoy Zakopane. Staff if super friendly and there are many couches throughout the hotel so you can hide and enjoy a book or a little time outside the hotel room.

We did not find an elevator, which was not a problem for us, but if you bring heavy suitcases with you be aware you would need to carry them up to your room.

Breakfast standards a bit low...

Everything was clean, comfortable and cozy. The hotel staff were helpful. Enjoyed the beautiful view of Tatra mountains from the window of the hotel.

Kitchen equipment was good but the recommendation would be to provide guests with an electric stove and cooking utensils as well

The bar was closed very early, if it was open after 9pm we would have used it more!

The location is excellent, and the view from the back window is stunning.

The breakfast was very poor for the money. We ete in the cafe across from the hotel.

This is a cheapish hotel option. Rooms are good, but quite small. Checkin was easy and quick. Free onsite parking. Nice views to the mountains. Small kitchenette with a fridge for self catering breakfast and food storage which we found useful.

Rooms seem smaller than we expected. Our daughter booked a separate single room and it was REALLY SMALL! No life ... so if u want to bring your heavy suitcases from the car, you must heave them up flights of stairs.

Perfect location for walking from the train and bus station in Zakopane. Also, Perfect location for walking to the main strip. The staff were friendly, rooms spacious and when needing to leave early for our walks we was able to order a packed breakfast for out adventures and they made an excellent packed breakfast.

Only downside is no lifts to the floors. Even a ramp just wide enough for suitcase to be able to be pulled up/down at the side of the stairs would be a help. No need for the plastic shelf above the sink in the bathroom, it just gets in the way when washing your face.One large duvet would be nicer than 2 singles for double/king-size beds.

The location, the view is really amazing for this kind of price. The parking lot is huge and safe to leave your car there. The staff is kind.

The bed could be a little bit more comfortable but we had a nice sleep anyways. ☺️

I think in the room would be nice to have more sockets, especialy near bed.

- Cheap breakfast.- The hotel needs renovation, especially the bathroom.- Feather pillows are not suitable for people with allergies.- The snow machine was working all night near the hotel and it was impossible to sleep. At night, there was no one at the reception to change our room. The snow machine was working again the next evening, so we requested a room change in advance. The administrator offered us a tiny room with windows to the other side for 90 zl.
