- Simply fabulous!!We arrived wet and tired after a long day's walk to be greeted by the wonderful Brigitte...so welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. As a trailer was blocking the view from our booked room we were generously given an upgrade to a 2 bed apartment. It was fabulous...clean, bright, modern with all sorts of thoughtful extras. The rest of the hotel followed suit !!Beautiful dining room and terrace with superb mountain views. Buffet style breakfast had a wonderful selection, beautiful breads and simply delicious.A fabulous modern style spa complex, always plenty of room.It also includes a free chairlift and bus pass which was a real bonus for our walking. It's also an easy walk into town if you can bear to leave the lovely hotel !!
- The staff who served us dinner on our first night and who served us breakfast first two mornings were very helpful.
- The SPA is really nice, esp. the outdoor jacuzzi. Amazing view on the mountains.Cake buffet in the afternoon is very nice; unfortunately no free coffee. Breakfast was very good, many choices
Cons -
- Can't fault anything!Undoubtedly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.
- Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options, no hot food available except the eggs you could order. When asked if there are any hot food available, was rudely told by one lady staff that this is what Swiss breakfast looks like. Our room didn’t have a view, which is ok as they didn’t have availability. However, while allocating our table for breakfast/dinner, we always got same table with no view. Would have been nice to be seated with view some days especially when all other tables were empty.Hotel offered us lift to the bus stop, which was very nice of them. However, the driver was absolutely rude. We decided not to tip him even though we had already taken out money for it.The worst part was this hotel didn’t have step free access. With a toddler on a stroller, it was very difficult to get up and down the hotel. And no staff comes to offer you help. For the price you pay, one can expect to have few services to make your stay better.
- The staff could be friendlier, esp. at breakfast. A hotel of this category should offer a tea making facility and a coffee machine in each room.

Very good location with nice views. The staff were attentive and friendly. Great decoration, the lobby felt like a cosy living room. The quality and offer at the breakfast buffet was excellent. Free parking provided.
Daily room cleaning could have been more thorough. The pet fee was 30 CHF per night but no extras were provided, e.g. dog bed, bowls or treats.
The spas and sauna were beautifully appointed and enjoyable. A good size indoor swimming pool was a bonus. Great breakfasts. Good design deco throughout the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Attention to detail very much appreciated. The location was excellent.
Location within the village is great and nice view from the apartment of the mountains. The apartment was warm and spacious. Towels provided.
We took a two bed apartment which had no room service or telephone to connect to the reception, whilst on Booking.com it says it has room service. No coffee machine which we had to ask for. In terms of the cleaning, the floors were dusty including under the dining table in the kitchen.
Nice spa facility and good restaurant.
Rooms were dated. Floor slanted. Amenities not the standard I expected.
Nice they did special for the Wildstrubel race altough it is normally a fancy hostel.
Spa
The system of reservation for breakfast, with rooms pre-assigned to a specific table. Who does that, really? We were among the first customers at breakfast and were offered the worst table of an empty restaurant. Never seen something like this
The personnel in the hotel is so nice and kind. The spa seems to be recently renovated. It’s very comfortable- the location, parking, even an electric charger. We had a wonderful time and could relax completely
From the moment we arrived, we felt most welcome. We arrived three hours before check-in and were able to go to the SPA immediately. Massage was brilliant. The room was lovely and breakfast very tasty. Staff were helpful and sweet. We’ll definitely come again and recommend this to anyone in need of some relaxation.
The view from the room and balcony of the valley and mountains was stunning. Absolutely beautiful.
The spa services were fully booked for the entirety of the weekend we were there. Book early!
- Breakfast was good- Spa had 2 steam baths and 2 saunas- There was free parking at the hotel (albeit the parking spots are so small that we could barely open the door because of the cars next to us)
A few small things - but overall the experience was never worth the high price (we paid 380CHF for a 2 people room).- Room was very warm and we did not find a way to regulate the temperature down- The the shampoo / shower gel was empty when we arrived in the room- A water dispenser was already emptied when we arrived at the spa (5:30ish) and was only refilled towards the end of our spa stay.- Why is the spa closed at 7pm if people ski until around 5pm? Why not allow for a longer spa opening time so people can relax after dinner?
This is a good hotel with friendly staff. The Location is very good in the Center of the Village and very close to the cable car / Ski area. Large Wellness area.
Rooms would Look much nicer with some decoration like pictures on the Walls, maybe flowers. Value for Money is Not the greatest, but it was high Season and it is Switzerland After all
Our vacation at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! Great spa complex with outdoor heated pool and mountain views included in the price. Delicious and varied buffet breakfasts, plus the option to order eggs any way you like. Dinners in the restaurant are also very tasty, with a different menu every day. Both elevators are located in walking distance, you can go already with equipment.
Quiete expensive
Everything at my hotel was perfect, as expected: Kind & professional staff, a lovely room with a stunning view, spa & the shuttle service with Patrick!
It's a tad annoying that the Finnish sauna opens only at 16. And that so many people are allowed at the spa at the same time.
Beautiful old building in great location
Staff was very unfriendly. Junior Suite didn't have a coffee maker or a kettle - something I would absolutely expect in a 4-star hotel. There was no minibar in the suite either. Breakfast went on until 10:30am however, at 9:45am there were four sad little bits of cheese left on the cheese board, the strawberry jam was finished, and there was no Birchermüsli left. None of these things got refilled. The hotel would be beautiful and was probably quite grand at some point but the Junior Suite was a disappointment and the service does not live up to a 4-star standard.
The spa, the restaurant, the view, the advice from the staff, the room
The lady at the front desk made a mistake on the bill and did not want to recognise it
amazing. i like the small touches like breakfast included and the full size match box i was gifted at the end, not much but still a nice touch. nice shampoo and body washes from l’occitane super recommend staying here
Everything. The hotel is lovely. The terrace has a beautiful view. The spa is wonderful. The breakfast was great and the staff kindly kept mine for me later. The staff were incredibly kind. The hotel provides a lift pass free of charge.
Room was a bit hot and small and there was a moth in the room which made a hole in my jumper.
