Large Studio room very equipped! And very clean. View from the window was amazing Breakfast was ok.The location is fantastic for hiking Private garage next to the studio room

Convenient location in the city centre.

Sauna and wellness hours from 15h until 18h and only upon reservation, not very convenient after a day of skiing...Breakfast was somewhat limited: no fried eggs & bacon, no sweets apart from croissants. Gluten free bread available, but nothing else really for coeliacs.Rooms were very hot, only possibility was to open the window to make it colder inside.

Good quality breakfast. The hotel is located in the centre of town so very convenient for bars, restaurants, and shopping. The high street lift linking to the main bubble is just a few minutes walk away and ski hire is also very close.

Hotel was a bit too warm at night

The Hotel was beautiful and clean and well located.

Our room was next to the reception and public toilets!Very noisy! And every time we wanted to get in or out of the room, there were several people at reception or in the toilet queue!Our reservation was for a room with a double bed, but it was two single beds put next to each other and the space between two mattresses hinders the back.The pillows were not comfortable (too soft) and there was no extra pillow in the room.

The staff were friendly, excellent facilities and great location in the centre of the village. Cablecar pass was included in the package and was a great bonus. Breakfast was good. All continental. Had evening meal one night, food was delicious.

Unfortunately my room looked out to the village square. In the evenings this was fine but when trying to sleep much later it was annoying to have the noise at 1:30am! Rooms were warm because of the lovely weather so you needed to keep window open! Earplugs were available at reception so I fear this must have been a regular problem.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, very helpful and welcoming. We felt like home over our short stay. The room was comfortable and clean, beds are great for a good rest after a hike. The location was awesome, all shops are nearby, cablacars within reach, amazing view to the mountains from the balcony.

windows of the room look to the square with some cafes. It can be noisy in the evening.

Such a nice and big room with a view. Coffee machine and water boiler in the room. Staff was very helpful. We got even free Bergpass and we could use some of the cable cars for free.

Breakfast should be improved. Other than this, nice hotel.

The location was amazing,,, the view, the quite place around,,,, the way to the hotel is beautiful with green land and river,,, the hotel provide a lot of offers to go around the area with free bus,

Small basic room but that what i was looking for and had the best value for money in this trip. guests get free bus voucher and 20% discount for the car cables for Oeschinensee Lake(highly recommended if it's not a rainy day!). Wonderful breakfast included!

Ski room is a bit limited in terms of space and seating

We had booked the studio apartment which was very nice. It has a reserved parking space very close by, albeit at an extra cost. Breakfast was great and the hotel restaurant is also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially as Swiss-German is not our first language.

There was a little bit of confusion at first to find the apartment and parking space. It is a few minutes walk away from the hotel itself. This was not explained to us in advance, but it was easily resolved once we spoke to reception.

Staff of both hotel and restaurant were exceptional. Freshly renovated rooms and restaurant. Restaurant has great Swiss food (try Bären-Schnägge to get sth you cannot get every day). PS: other great (non-Swiss) dinner choices are BrynWilliams @ Hotel The Cambrian and S'Zimmer @ Hotel Viktoria Eden, both worth envy penny and und 10min away from Hotel Bären.

Coffee at breakfast was not sth to remember (trying to say it nicely)

The convenient location, traditional decor, nice bathroom and breakfast. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. Would stay again .
