Ambassador Hotel

Built to resemble Old West, it seems out of place in Romania. Smells like the cheap perfume old explorers used, if done on purpose , bad choice !

Did not like the strange, unwelcoming feeling.

Room quite big, comfortable beds, friendly staff. The location is not central, but a visit to city center can ba done via public transportation or even by foot.

The furniture is not in good shape, a furniture update is necessary.

Location in blue parking zone. It was not a bad breakfast, but it was too expensive. Interior is excellent.

Nothing and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.A big shout out to Adrian as he allowed me to store my luggage after checking out as I had a bus transfer later in the day.

I loved the art, it was incredible! And the staff was lovely, really great people! Unfortunately, the rest of my stay wasn't so great. The room had a weird smell to it and it didn't seem very clean. I didn't even have those 1-use slippers you normally get at hotels. I don't want to go nitpicking, but the beige brown color of the walls was a bit too much, it left everything feeling too heavy. Plus, it didn't help put the amazing art into focus, and that's a shame.The room was spacious though and the desk was helpful, but I'm not sure if I would return to this place. Maybe to study the paintings in more details.

The hotel is old and rusty, furniture for sure needs an upgrade. Bathroom, mirrors were not clean enough. Makeup mirror broken. Missing soapMissing water in the room. We did not get breakfast as it is quite expensive (45 RON/person) The hotel migh have been 4 stars during the communist era and somehow kept it, but for sure is missing a lot of features that you would expect from a 4 stars hotel.

Friendly staff. Location was convenient for me. Staff prepared for me breakfast to go, as I needed to checkout before breakfast starts here (7:00). I got spacious room for 3 people, while I was alone.

Old fashioned. WiFi was very weak at 3rd floor. The air conditioner controller was broken. Elevator didn't work, although this was not critical for me.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff was nice, and parking was free which was important to us. Very friendly and helpful staff, The room was big and very clean. Great internet, which was important for us.

The sink was leaking so the bathroom floor was wet all the time.

The location. And unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner but we were told of a restaurant to try, Nora, 10 minutes walk away which was okay.

The terrible strong smell when you enter the room (probably bad choice of cleaning products); the AC didn’t work since we couldn’t sleep well. Dirty old carpet.

In one of the rooms thermostat was not existing and it was impossible to switch off the AC.

It is a nice hotel, decorated in a very interesting way that is really worth seeing. The staff was friendly, the room clean, the breakfast was tasty.

Check in was a bit complicated, especially because the e-mail with my check in information was sent to spam. But after the initial confusion all went well.

Our staying was very pleasant, everything perfect, clean and spacious room, very friendly in the reception. Very quiet as it has double windows. We definitely prefer it again.
