    Pros +

    • The people working ,exelent plus hotel was so very nice
    • Location is great, access to Arad is extremely easy. The room was of a good size and had a balcony with good views, even if they were to the back. 24 hour reception is always welcome.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • Bathroom was an afterthought design-wise, shower area unavoidably leaks. Breakfast at 75/person was above local market-rate but for some the convenience is worth it.
    • Dry air ...too hot inside cannot set up
    • I was accommodated in room 104.Problems:Cold air was coming in from outside (3 degrees C at 10 am when I got to the room) because the double-glazed door was not closing tightly.I managed to set the air conditioner to heat after 30 minutes of repeated attempts: the instructions for use are brief, and the markings on the control unit are erased (the unit is probably very old).I managed to heat the room after 3 hours (old and inefficient heating system)The mattresses are very hard, uncomfortable. I slept very badly. In the bathroom, the glass panel separating the shower is very narrow. It is impossible not to splash the floor heavily, which is a risk of slipping when getting out of the bath. The towels are old and do not absorb water. Both bathrobes are small and cannot be used. The TV is advertised as having 120 channels. In reality, about 30 are functional. In general, HD programs do not work (for example, TVR 1 HD). There are CI cards but probably the subscription is not paid.

In conclusion, the hotel is far from the declared 4-star level. At most 3 stars with goodwill.

Big room, very clean, big balcony, good location, nice parking.

    8AlexandraPosted on: 8-21-2025

Central location, close to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was nice and varied.

Sofa was directly in front of the air conditioning vents, making it sonewhat uncomfortable to sleep there and keep the ventilation on at night.

Nice location , in the city center of Arad very close to all points of interest. Breakfast very good and the room was clean and nice. Staff was very helpful.

    6IonutPosted on: 8-12-2025

Location is perfectly in the city center. Rooms were quiet and staff was nice.

The bed was absolutely atrocious, leaning on one side so badly we had to sleep while grabbing the bed with one hand so we didn't fall. The mattress is also on springs and quite old because they are no longer aligned. Bathroom is extremely outdated and so is pretty much the rest of the hotel and our room at least. Cannot be categorized as 4 stars (maybe in the 1990s). The price is comparable to the same class in Timisoara and Oradea, but nowhere near the same quality.

    The location was convenient!

It is old, the room gives you the idea that everything is not clean enough… bad smell!

    8ELEFTHERIOSPosted on: 7-7-2025

    Facilities, location,

Breakfast although good, not clean ( hair in the fried eggs )

    6AndraPosted on: 5-24-2025

The location. The hotel is right in the middle of the city

4 stars are a lot for this hotel. Although you can tell is was something nice 30 years ago, unfortunately it is still stuck there, în the 90s. Breakfast is poor and not worth the price.

Nice hotel in the centre of Arad. Very nice view over the rooftops from the 9th floor. Good breakfast. Functional rooms.

Very noisy. We had a room in front of the elevator, on the 9th floor. There is a discotheque in the hotel, somewhere near the elevator on the ground level ans the music was extremely loud. Not very appropriate to have a disco in an hotel. We were accommodated in the weekend, maybe it is quiet during workdays, when the disco is closed.

Conveniently located, with on site parking, very clean, comfortable beds and good options for breakfast.

The bed, the room, the location

    7FrankPosted on: 2-25-2025

Room good, would have preferred a double bed and not single. Amenities in room were as expected, good minibar. Breakfast was as expected for this type of hotel.

No real response to this question, nothing of concern to note. Being terribly picky, the shower head was slightly too low, I am 188cm

Oh my God!!!Let me start with Marina at the reception. FANTASTIC GURL, and I mean fantastic. You guys, if you want an amazing experience from the customers, raise her as a customer service supervisor.Basically she was great in the first place answering my requests from my reservation on the email weeks before, then... we, 4 people, + our chihuahua, met her smile. Please, let the other employees to watch her working. She was so amazing that I forgot what was wrong there, if anything. So, #1 achievement on Continental is Marina's skills. (Reason I asked about her name when we left, for this review).#2. Mr. Miyagi (Ionica de la bar). Great guy as well. He drove me to fall for "Jidvei", VSOP (not even XO). Hugo spritz and Gin & Tonic, well preparedStill on #2 people from restaurant.Luminita and her colleague made us feel like kings. We started to fight witch king is grater? (I am of course) Beautiful setup, very professional serving. Candle on the immaculate table. Food? Excellent. The queen of the dishes, the eggplant salad and toast. That was ambrosia.Hotel, great facility, well placed, large spaces, nice and large hotel room, view, fantastic, everything was ergonomic and functional.Parking, steps away, breakfast? I wish Americans come and experience what a REAL breakfast mean. Big selection, large breakfast room, very nice staff watching and cleaning fast to make sure the customers are pleased.Thank you guys for this nice experience.

We wish to stay more in this conditions

Hotel and room were very clean. Location. No street noise. Location of room in hotel was quiet.

No enthusiasm for customer care at check in/check out. Nothing mentioned re breakfast for time location. Just get checked in quick. Checking out, take card and goodbye. No query re stay or mini bar. Room cleaning took second bath towel even though used one was hanging and did not replace it. Spring stopper is sink jammed when closed and would not open. Lucky it was only used on day off checkout. Cord for hairdryer needs replacing. Top shower head needs replacing, very little water coming out the head, most through the sides. TV needs replacing or updating. Channels listed were not live.

Staff were more than welcoming and friendly for no particular reason. Things reported were dutifully looked after. Breakfast has everything and our whole family was quite full and ready for a full day.

Minor tidbits like burned out lightbulb, toilet wouldn't stop when flushing or shower fixture being backwards

    9AnaPosted on: 2-4-2025

We liked this hotel , the family room was large and comfortable, beds were ok. The staff was very kind and professional.

Some smell of chlorine in the corridor and the furnishings were a bit run down.

    7Beatrice_ioPosted on: 1-28-2025

Breakfast is poor and very expensive. Room was clean and warm. Very well located, right in the center of the city. The place though looks like ancient hotel, wanting to be 4 stars, but...not really. Parking is to be paid. Not very pleasant. Restaurant employees are so so nice.

Poor breakfast, very expensive paid parking, hotel doesn't look like a 4 star.
