    Pros +

    • This cabin is located in a spectacular setting with waterfall views. It was very clean and comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. It far exceeded my expectations for a cabin at a campground!
    • Picturesque landscape. Close to the viking village which made for a great start into our day. We got in late. They had our cabin ready for us.
    • Very bad experience. I have to think now weather to use booking. Com for future booking or not.

    Cons -

    • Keep in mind that you either need to bring towels and sheets with you or rent them for an additional fee. This wasn't a problem for us and we appreciated that they have linens available to rent; I'm just underscoring it here to make sure others are aware.
    • This place is not a hotel. It is a campground. You should not advertise as a hotel. They charge hotel prices and provide campground services and fatigues.
    • Walking there from the bus stop requires walking on the side of a busy road through grass or gravel. Having a dedicated walking path from the bus route would help a lot.

Good value, good location, a bit hard to get to.

Beautiful location, and very close to the fjord port.

The couch could have been more comfortable. Paying for sheets and towels is a bit rough, particularly when traveling from abroad and only staying one night. The cost was rather high.

Wonderful place to stay! ? We absolutely loved our cottage and the breathtaking view from it —so scenic and surrounded by nature. Sipping my evening tea and dinner while taking in the view was such a peaceful experience. ? ZeeWe’d definitely love to come back on our next trip to Norway!

The scenery was stunning and our cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved that it had a bar and restaurant there too. The staff were super friendly too!!

    Location was fantastic

Expensive and not well maintained Paid extra to hire linen, towels were the size of hand towels

I would give it a zillion stars if I could. The location is jaw-dropping, just like heaven on earth. We were so cozy in our hytte, and it's so close to Flåm and the Viking Village. It was very cold and rainy most of our stay, but we did not mind at all because we were so comfortable and had such a pretty view. The camp hosts were lovely, and they have a nice little drink menu. My mom and son thoroughly enjoyed their fancy hot chocolates, and I enjoyed my wine. ;)

    No complaints

    Beautiful scenery

WiFi signal was too week to be usable. We could not use internet throughout our stay.

The absolute most beautiful setting- waterfalls right outside our window.Staff was helpful at check in and we went back later for a drink and hanging out by the outdoor wood fire.

Be sure to go easy on the hot water in your shower if more than one person needs a shower. Could use some more cups and silverware- but we had enough.

The cabin was cute and the surroundings were beautiful, the bed was alright.

The fridge didn’t work, neither did the heating in the bedroom. There were also dead flies on the floor, and there was no hand soap.

The small house was great and very warm for our stay I wish I knew it before so we could stay more… the location was amazing and the view stunning. The parking outside the house was very convenient as well.

It wasn’t “baby friendly” but we found the way to fix it.

Nice clean cottage, we checked into a 2 bedroom unit but there is a bonus attic which can fit another 2 kids. Only 3 of us but our daughter chose to stay up in the attic. Very close to the ferry pier to catch the cruise. The view of the mountain especially in the morning with all the mist was just magical, I felt like I was transported to another world.

The kitchen can do with a little more amenities like kitchen towels, washing liquid

Amazing location. Great views, and right by Nærøyfjorden... felt like a dream

I was not expecting to have to pay for bed linens, and would have preferred for them to have been included in the booking payment.

    9KarenPosted on: 9-8-2024

Lovely views from balcony of the waterfall.

A bit of a trek to the camping ground along busy road. Luckily it was not raining.

Location is beautiful Staff is very friendly and helpful

Bed linen need to be rented separately

    7NielsPosted on: 9-8-2024

Very nice rooms, close to parked car, stunning mountain views and sunset.

Had to pay 90NOK extra for towels and got complaints that only the bedding is in the price of booking.com but not the towels. Little weird.

    7DavidPosted on: 9-2-2024

Beautiful location and convenient location by the fjord for kayaking.

Everything seemed to cost money here. With a private cottage for $140 for a night, I would expect linens to be included. They cost another $10. It then cost $5 to play billiards and only for an hour. They closed down the common area at 930pm. You also have to change your linens, sweep, and take out the trash. I would expect to do this at a hostel, but when you're paying the same price here as a mid-tier hotel in Bergen or Oslo, this is excessive. Stay elsewhere to avoid the hassle and fees for everything.
